Whiner fans crying about the refs all over the internet

Recommended Posts

All my buddies that are SF fans are bitching about the refs all day today. I'm like how quickly you forget that the only reason you were playing Seattle in the first place is because Carolina got jobbed by the refs during our divisional round matchup. We should have won that game by a couple scores.

So I don't want to hear poo about the refs.

But they had Michael Crabtree!!!

How could they lose???

He's Jerry Rice/Michael Irvin/Calvin Johnson in one.

Sucks how the 49ers never get calls in their favor. If only they had refs that had no friggin idea what pass interference or a completed catch looked like, maybe they would've won.

I had a "friend" on Facebook that I argued with after our loss against them after he responded to me posting a picture of an officiating crew captioned, "The 2013 San Francisco 49ers Team Photo."  He got super pissed and started asking, did the refs throw 2 interceptions, did the refs give up all those FGs, did the refs let Kap run in for a TD.  So, I went down the list and gave him all of the examples of blatantly skewed officiating in favor of the Niners, which changed the tone of the game and dictated how it was played in their favor.  He said I was a sore loser, and I concurred, and proudly acknowledge it when my team has been cheated.

Fast forward to last night...  I posted some inflammatory comments, ON MY PAGE, like, "Nighty night Mr. Wal-Mart pants," and, "Better put those Dre Beats on QUICK!" after Kap threw the final INT.  He posted a paragraph long rant on his page about "what really pisses me off is that it's not Seattle fans that are talking trash to me, it's fans from teams that either didn't make the playoffs, or teams that MY TEAM ELIMINATED from the playoffs.  Good game Seahawks."  I guess I'd be mad too if I got the benefit of horrible officiating that pushed me through a game past my team's expiration date and expected it to happen again.

What was going on out there? The NFL is expected to look into an incident along the 49ers sideline in the first half in which Seattle's Jeremy Lane was hit after going out of bounds while covering a punt. Lane was driven out of bounds and continued to run through the San Francisco team when a member of the 49ers team dressed in a warmup suit collided with Lane. The person on the 49ers sideline appeared to lean into Lane as they collided. The play was reminiscent of when members of the New York Jets, led by former strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, interfered with Miami Dolphins coverage man Nolan Carroll. Alosi was fined $25,000 by the NFL and was suspended for the remainder of the season. The Jets were eventually fined $100,000.

Im gad im not the only one who noticed this.  I was at a family gathering and I yelled "did you see that?!" of course no one else saw it.  It did look like he leaned into him on purpose. That says it all about the whiners.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
