If Nicks ends up in Charlotte, great. But, make no mistake: The Panthers' future success does not hinge upon Hakeem Nicks.  Yeah, there might be a Huddle contingent that cries "bloody murder", but the more insightful among us realize that there is more than one road to raising hardware. 

 

For example, the Seahawks are on the verge of a championship even though their most prized signing---and biggest free agent signing of all---last year has barely played. Yeah...if they hadn't signed him, they'd be in the same place.

DG has to hold Steve Keim at gun point and force him to cut Fitz right this second and then sign him for some of dat vet minny. Its the only way we can get a win next season and if he doesn't do this then DG hates WRs fereverz and is going to trade Cam to the Browns tomorrow for two 8th round draft picks.
