Time Warner is no more...

Comcast does not have the workforce to replace all the TWC employees. Most will likely be able to keep their jobs unless Comcast restructures everything and wants to pay them less, work them more....

Regardless, Comcast has been crap for a long time, customer service is absolutely horrible. Last time I had cable- about 12 years ago- it was Comcast and it was total poo.

Comcast is building 60 story building in Philly. I think they were preparing for this.

I read that Comcast has better technology and high ratings in customer service now. Time warner is near the bottom in that area.

Anyway my Dad and another good friend work for Time Warner Cable. Hoping this isn't bad for them.

My wife works for TWC. They call it synergies on wallstreet aka laying people off. Comcast CEO said he will increase company synergies right after merger is complete aka many people will be shown the door in Charlotte area.

Comcast is dreadful.

The only thing that's decent is their internet and that's if they don't cap (which they don't in my area). Everything else about them is crap. This move to monopolize even more will only make it worse on the consumer.

    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
    • Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
