Get on the bandwagon: Odell Beckham Jr

6'0, 4.4 speed (estimate), great ball skills, huge hands, fluid athlete... this guy has it all. This guy's my number 2 WR right now behind Watkins. Remember that it's still early in the draft process -- I expect him to be seen as a top 15 type of prospect when it's all said and done.

He seems solid. For my money, Cooks seems like the more explosive receiver though.  We'll see how it all pans out.

Cooks needs to run well in the combine. For my money, I think people are overestimating his speed. He needs to be elite in that category to make up for his size.

not sure i like him more than landry. I'd be happy with either, but we could probably get landry in the second.

Yeah, Landry's not gonna be a 1st rounder. He won't run well in the 40. I mean, he may end up being the next Anquan Boldin with his size and strength, but even Boldin slipped to the 2nd round.

Opposed to trading up.  I think we have to trust the scouts to find guys that can fill holes.  We can do well in this draft.

We're picking 28th in every round. And we're not in rebuild mode. If there is a guy that the coaching staff like I'm sure they won't hesitate to go get him. A team is lucky to have 3 of their 7 picks as long term starter in this league. If you can get 2 pro bowl type  starters to upgrade an already 12-4 team in one draft then that's what you do.

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
