Panthers possibly 28 million under the cap

According to ESPN's Roster Management System, with a $6 million carryover, the Panthers could have as much as $28 million to play with based on a $128 million cap.

Don't really understand sll the cap math, but if this is the case, sign Cam NOW, get him some weapons and let hardy walk. Cam showed us this year he can manufacture game winning drives, and if you get him some weapons, we won't need any last minute scores.

Right. Newton is assuming the cap will be 128 million. Apparently the NFLPA is still undecided whether to apply 2 million to the cap.
