Bad news.  I don't understand why you'd retire after being one of the best and also on a good team that could make a push.  He has years left.  I worry DG low-balled him hard, enough to piss him off and push him away.   I was banking on us bringing Gross and Wharton back, since they played so well, and putting heavy attention to the right side.   Terrible news.

 

There are some people that have nothing going for them except football. If these guys are good they stay in the league until no one wants them anymore.

 

Jordan has always been a well rounded guy. I'm sure he loves football but he has other interests as well. He might be ready for a change. Jeremy Shockey had something left in the tank but he wasn't going to put in the work for less than $5m a year. No one met his asking price and he's partying all over the world now.
