So I had a colonoscopy this past Friday. I guess it went pretty normal. I woke up in recovery with massive stomach pains. The nurse said that's to be expected due to all the air being pushed inside me. The nurse walked me to the bathroom (still in a gown) and said for me to turn my bottom towards the toilet, bend slightly forward and push the air out. I did as I was told and projectile shat all over the toilet and wall. She said its fine, she'll clean it up, and asked if I felt better. I did.

I went back to the bed and within a few minutes the pain came back with a vengeance. We walk back into the bathroom and go through the same routine. Nothing is happening. She goes and gets a blanket, lays in on the ground, and tells me to get on all fours while leaning my head on the ground. She straddles me and tells me to push while she is squeezing my stomach.

I begin ripping the most audible farts I have ever heard in my life. So loud and violent. They sound like a 4 cylinder honda with a gutted cat. The entire time I'm farting she is giving words of encouragement and satisfaction. "That's it sugar. Keep pushing honey. There ya go. Yeah that's great. Good job baby doll".

I really didn't know what to say when I was done so I just said thanks. Very strange experience.

I was really scared to read this.

 

Then when I started scrolling down and saw a picture posted, I was really scared.

 

Then I scrolled farther and there was an animated picture. I was momentarily terrified.

 

Now I'm just confused, and I'm scared to fart.

One time I was admitted to the hospital for high blood pressure and they gave me something serious to get that under control as well as some kind of bowel cleaning stuff - I HAD to poop and the nurse said she'd help me from the bed to the toilet. Being a man I said no I got it, then ended up passing out and shitting all over the floor. I was mortified when I woke up but the nurse was totally nonchalant about it. They are tough.

      This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.

      None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.

      I've got nothing else to say really than: Ayup. Here we are again. Again.  All we can really hope for is progress. If we improve as much again, it'll be good. If we don't, it'll be foretold.
