We could add a couple of guys Cotchery and draft a 2-3 round guy and be OK at WR....not great, but OK.

 

LT is a huge problem with nothing in FA and nothing on the roster that resembles a good starting LT.

 

However, I don't think Cyrus' health concerns will be erased and I don't see another top LT falling.  So, that being said I absolutely see either WR or CB in the first....with my money on WR.

 

Yeah I wish there was a some way Lewan could have a mysterious heart condition we could take advantage of like with Star.

I do know, based upon stats, that Byron Bell only gave up 9 more QB hurries, 6 more hits and 3 more sacks than Gross did, with the same amount of snaps...and Bell was going up against sack-happy LEs.

According to himself and the staff, he's more natural at LT, so I am growing more comfortable with the thought of him playing LT and being adequate there.

We really need to take advantage if this WR crop, though. So it's really gonna be up to that Panther Draft board and BPA.

Bama buddy of mine says Kouandjio won't live to the hype. Eh I hope if we do pick him he pans out. We definitely need a tackle this or next year. However, if Cam doesn't have time in the pocket then it doesn't matter how good our WRs are.

We aren't as bad up front as many of you think.

Sure, there are some ? With players returning from injury and it would be great to get upgraded, but y'all need to chill out with the trashing of our players along the front.

Honestly I think Godfrey will flourish with the help of the front 7 just as mitchell did. I don't view safety as a huge need. But we need receivers.

I rather cut Godrey. Use that money to help sign a WR (James Jones/Nicks) then draft a safety in the 2nd or 3rd.
