LOL! Saints fans are shitting all over this signing. Apparently Harper is way worse than anyone here realizes.

I used to go back and forth with a Saints fan on a forum and he got banned for literally threatening to kill Harper

It's not about what he got. Man people here really have lost it! If Gettleman locks Mitchell up as he should have PRIOR to FA then Mitchell never really knows his value as a FA does he? Therefore, he would have never signed anything with anyone else but us.

Is that too hard for you to comprehend?

Instead he signs a 65 yr old safety whom the whole team hates. It's business though right? Pffffff

Man, I think you are on to something.  Hoping Gman sees this as he can just lock up Cam next year at 4 million per season, you know, so Cam does not have an idea what his worth would be on the open market.  Eureka!!!

I think you should patent this idea and save all GM's a ton of dough

Um, let's see. You post a link to the aints board where they put down Harper. But you don't understand when I say we should let their fans run our franchise? Well, okay then.

has nothing to do with running our franchise.  that's not our job.  our job is to be a fan and when we pick up one of our least favorite players in the nfl, yeah i kind of want to puke.  i guess it's pride.

    • Strongly disagree with this. Not saying Kucci will be a playoff caliber starter. But, if you look at the guys who are playoff starters and those with recent playoff success, he is matching their trajectories to a tee. Once other teams get enough tape/experience and start to gameplan against, there is an adjustment period. Pyotr has all of the skills to be a Vezina level tendy. What matters is how he evolves from here. The league knows his tendencies and have learned how to exploit him. Can he continue to mature and improve, or will he settle in for a long lucrative career on the bench? Next season will be a turning point for Kucci, one way or another. Hopefully, he proves me right and we have our goalie for the next decade. Lord knows the rest of our goalie pipeline looked like garbage when they got thrown in the fire this season.
    • I can only assume you never played sports at any high level or you would know the tiny bump you get moving up the draft is far outweighed by the damage you do to coaches and players whose future relies on sticking in the league and performing. Players see you don't care about them or the team success and will help you tank by giving up. Once that happens your franchise will suffer for years and develop a loser mentality like we have.  No that would be crappy advice and saying it repeatedly doesn't make it better.
