NFL Playoffs expanding to 14 in '15... MNF game likely

That's too bad.  I think the NFL's playoff system, as it currently is, is the best in all professional sports.  Perhaps not perfect in terms of seeding and the division structure, but 12 teams is a great balance.

Wow...is all I can say, so almost half the league will be in the playoffs now. That's sad on Soo many levels, it's gonna cut down on hard fought, entertaining games now. I really hope the bottom dwellers that get in, get blown out bad to show that they don't deserve to be there, but it's a any givin Sunday league. The way it was set up before was ideal. Goodell is ruining this game.

I prefer MLB's as they have the least teams and I think for the postseason less is better but the NFL definitely has a better set-up to the other sports.  Adding two more waters it down, we already almost had an 8-8 WC team last season.

 

The worst part of this idea though is the MNF idea.  That is clearly an unfair disadvantage for whoever gets drawn there.

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
