Our Cap situation next year is possibly even worse. I doubt that Gettleman will want to create millions of additional issue by cutting Godfrey. I doubt he goes anywhere.

He is worth it. Trent Williams, the highest ranked tackle in the league, is making 7.25 million in 2014. Williams gave up 1 fewer sack and the same amount of QB hits compared to what Bell did.

Maybe it's time to re-focus all this anger.and criticism somewhere else on this team? If Bell improves between now and next season, we have ourselves a steal at OT.

Bell is a restricted free agent, so if someone offered him a contract and we chose not to match that contract they would have to give us a second round pick in return. I believe the second round tender amount is around $2.1 or $2.2 million dollars.

That extra two million dollars would have been nice to have when negotiating with Anthony Collins.

The $$ go down when with the round pick, no? We could have tendered him for WAY less than a second and paid him less in that case. Then still used the money for negotiating with someone else.

Would this help any?! As far as the cap situation goes. Why the fug is he still on this team? He's just sorry no other way to put it. I like to see Godfrey gone as well. Don't really like it, but I understand the RB situation. I mean cutting Bell, and Godfrey should free up some money. Am I wrong? Maybe thats part of Gettlemans master plan is to wait until june 1st to cut both of them...
