Would've liked to see a two year deal but i can see how Cason would only want a 1 year.

One thing that gets little attention is the number of CBs in this draft that should be around toward the middle of the draft who are nice fits for our system.

 

I think we draft one or two CBs, so a one-year deal may be all we want.

No doubt he deserves less money and I would like to see that addressed by the FO, but the guy is going to play well in this defensive scheme in 2014.

Achilles tears are brutal. It all depends on his recovery and rehab, I guess. I like Godfrey as a player...he's a solid vet tha give 100%. I think he deserves a shot and think he would be our best FS if he is 100%.

We shouldn't cut him just to cut him, is all I'm saying. We need some vets in our secondary that have been in the system. Makes for a better transition and not such a steep learning curve. He'd be the DB captain if he's here.
