Charles Godfrey may move to nickel back

I would love to see him as a cornerback. He has the ball skills and prior experience to play the position. After this season, we can force him to take a pay cut.

and i know you could argue that godfrey didn't contribute last year (it wouldn't even be an argument) but we lost both mikell and mitchell.  i would honestly like to see how he plays with a haruki or sherrod.

Rhodes is a hell of a safety.  I'm not sure why he hasn't been signed yet.  He would def be a good pick up and cheaper than Godfrey.  Maybe these have something to do with him being cold shouldered for so long:
