I'd say they are "solid" at best. They don't really have any huge game changers in my opinion. And we did have CJ injured a few games last year, and our starting secondary was pretty much on IR and we had to replace them after the first few games. We should be fine.

No different than what people would have said about us prior to last year.

tampon bay had a sean gilbert like deal with revis......maybe even worst.......BUT imo they the best FA period of any team. they made up for it and some. after the nfc west, this south division is a fcuking bear. i wouldn't be surprised if all teams finished 8-8, just too many great QBs/coaches/TEs/Ds/Players in this biatch.

Word on the street is that Tedford will run a Chip Kelly high pace offense. If they do that, that defense will not be elite.

i don't see what there is to worry about with the defense. their pass rush still isn't impressive. michael johnson had 3.5 sacks last year. adrian clayborn is eh. they have gerald mccoy and lavonte david which is nice.

 

but their QB is literally josh mccown. lmfao. and lovie smith is their coach, my god.

I could see Tampa being a good team if Glenon steps up. Any of the 4 teams could win our division. The Panthers are going to have to improve on offense. We did not run the ball effecitively enough, eventhough the stats would suggest otherwise. Overall who cares what the experts think. It will all play out on the field and the best team will remain standing. I don't listen or get offended by the so called experts anymore. The hype means nothing.
