Aaron Hernandez back in the news

By the article is says "allegedly". Plus the other inmate said he never heard Hernandez say anything. I am not taking up for him. I am just looking at the information that has been released. Who knows? I am just a guy reading the article

To be fair, if you were in the same cell block as this psycho, what would you say?

If he gets out, we should sign him. Don't need a team full of choireboys, right?

(there are people on here who would fully support this idea)

Your right though. If you can help the Panthers win football games I don't care how many people you kill as long as you don't let it be a distraction/detriment to the team. Hernandez obviously crossed that line, but if he learns how to be a better natural born criminal when he gets out of jail, and not such a dumbazz, then I would be down to sign him.

I really don't care if your mean to children, kick dogs, and beat your women. At the end of the day all I want is for the panthers to win football games, that's it.

I am probably a bad person for feeling that way but I just don't care.

Dude, you put waaaaaayyy too much importance on football games.

Looking at what you just wrote, if you really believe that winning football games is so important that you're okay with a player killing someone or abusing their wife and kids, I would strongly suggest you need to step away from the game for a while.

well then everyone is a natural born criminal, which makes the original quoted post pointless, and we spiral into a morass of irrelevance

my point was that it's dangerous to attribute bad social behavior to genetic predisposition.

My dad actually studied this for his masters degree. His findings would surprise you.

    • We’re past the talk and hypotheticals with Bryce. If he needs a perfect game from his receivers to not put up a stinker he’s not franchise starter material.
    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
