  1. Yeah he allegedly didn’t take the Washington job because he wanted to work with San Howell and didn’t think they should draft Jayden Daniels.
  2. Last year they had the Jets beating the Packers in the Super Bowl
  3. I don’t think either of our guys make it this year. Mole face and Fitzgerald are locks. Hopefully Luke gets in this year.
  4. I think that’s certainly a big part of it. I feel like there’s another underlying issue too that we can all see if we are honest but that’s not something that needs to be in this thread.
  5. I feel like you either don't follow the rest of the league or just have some kind of axe to grind about Andy Dalton. He's paid like a veteran back up QB because that's exactly what he is. His contract comes in at 41st in AAV in the league. His pay is the exact same as Jameis Winston and Josh Dobbs, right around the same as Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, Mac Jones, and Cooper Rush, and slightly less than Zach Wilson, Jacoby Brissett, Jarrett Stidham, and Tyrod Taylor. Are any other of those guys meaningfully better than Dalton? And what are you even talking about with his situation with the Saints? That was his fourth team in four years, he was signed to be...gasp....a back up QB (just like he was here). He only played most of the season for the Saints the year he was there because their starter (Jameis Winston) was hurt. Then the Saints went and overpaid Derek Carr the next offseason and the rest is history.
  6. Thielen at 8.75 million puts him at like the 35th highest paid wide receiver and that's including many guys on rookie deals who are clearly going to make more soon. Would we have been better off signing Josh Palmer, Dyami Brown, or Tutu Atwell who are getting paid about 1 million more per year? Andy Dalton's contract is 8 million but it's for two years so it's 4 million a year. This puts him around the range of Josh Dobbs, Jameis Winston, Davis Mills, etc. This is a normal range for back up quarterbacks. Why exactly you are you singling out these guys who are making salaries on par with many of their other peers given their production level?
  7. https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1945190471652765823 4 years, 120.4 million. Jaycee is down to third highest.
  8. Couple of other things that I remember even though I never rewatched the game: Play after the cotchery catch (because yes it was a fuging catch) was the strip sack fumble 6. Can’t remember which broncos defender left early/ jumped offside on the missed field goal but it wasn’t called. Aqib Talib (seriously fug that guy forever) getting beat by Philly brown so bad that he grabbed his face mask and yanked it like he was trying to break his neck. We got the penalty for it, but honestly he should have been thrown out of the game. Can’t remember which drive but I remember ginn running out of bounds when he seemingly had space to gain another 5-10 yards on a drive where we didn’t score. Kony Ealy would have likely been the Super Bowl MVP had we won which sounds absurd to say since he basically disappeared from the face of the earth after that game
  9. Im not saying Bryce is better but to act like Murrays supporting casts sucks when Hopkins, McBride, and Marvin Harrison Jr are all better than any pass catchers the panthers have put on the field for Bryce in his career thus far is wild to me. Kliff Kingsbury all of a sudden looked like a better offensive mind once he was working with Jayden Daniels instead of Murray.
  10. There's a big lot on West Morehead across from the Carolina School Supply Building that should have room. Up to this point it's been first come first serve on gameday and didn't allow online booking but not sure if that's changed. We stopped parking there a couple of years ago since it's kinda hard to get out of after the game and it went up to $50

  12. Mahomes did play one game in his rookie year, the last game of the season in which the Chiefs had already secured a playoff spot and had nothing really to play for. Put up almost 300 yards in a win. I think that's what the previous poster was referring to.

  14. Terron Armstead listed Robert Hunt as #1 on his list of bad ass linemen yesterday. I found it hilarious that the hosts didn’t even know what team he played for.
