  1. Past hour
  2. I hope he’s fine for next week.
  3. The young man was screaming in pain, he could have easily sat out the rest of the game but he taped that bitch up and said let’s roll. Kid’s a gamer
  4. I didn’t realize until now you guys were losing by 14 at one point. Great comeback!
  5. And there’s a lot more that goes into consistent QB play than just the QB especially when it comes to Bryce He’s 24 years old in 3 year with year 1 being a complete throw away year. He’s still seeing new things and outside of the fumbles (which every QB has) there’s not a ton of wtf head scratching moments. You’re seeing Young make progress and the only people that can’t see that are the ones that care more about being right This board thinks a WR taking a ball over the middle and turning it upfield is asking too much. A few times yesterday with Coker and Sanders they failed to pick up 1st downs when they should have. To draft a QB like Young and surround him with guys with little to no YAC ability is beyond stupid. Like I said, eventually this kid will go to a proper situation and be just fine. Hopefully it’s in Carolina because there aren’t many other QBs that are walking into this situation and doing much more. I do agree that the looming contract situation does complicate things
  6. Yardage based rankings lie like dogs.
  7. It's taken me awhile to just enjoy the Ws because we've done so many years without a winning record. BY still needs to prove himself to be consistent, but yesterday was truly nice to see. That being said, you can't tell people how to react. Especially the oldheads that have seen more misery than joy with this team. It's gonna take sustained winning with this group before this message board is back to a lighter tone.
  8. Yesterday was one of the best QB performances ever by a Panthers player That's what's frustrating is that he has glimpses of "oh he can be a franchise guy" and then he has last week for NOLA where he looks no where close to a franchise guy. Consistency is a skill and is needed.
  9. One thing we can all agree on is that Bryce is a tough dude. also zavala needs to be moved to the bench immediately, I was livid when he stepped on Bryce's ankle lol
  10. thats probably because their rushing d is towards the bottom
  11. Have been saying for 2 decades now that Panther fans are some of the dumbest in the 4 major sports. There are and were people who did not like cam. That’s all you need to know right there.
  12. He played great yesterday, almost perfect. Having said that there is absolutely nothing he can do for the rest of the season that would convince me that this is his job. Competition has to be brought in. The QB room has to be elevated. His up and mostly down performances have to be driving the staff bonkers.
  13. Stats lie. It’s why you have to watch the games and look at more than stats. They are a 3 win team with a bad run defense. Frank’s horrific Bryce rookie season we finished with the #3 pass D. It’s because he sucked so bad
  14. I think it is safe to say the majority of non-casual fans are not pleased with the Bryce Young career. Now, where you rank on the displeasure scale can vary…. whack are the fans who shows up loudly every 8th game or whatever the ratio is where Bryce isn’t pointless to gloat about him
  15. Atlanta is statistically the best pass D in the NFL
  16. This is just factually not true. It’s gaslighting. He has been one of the most unproductive QBs in the NFL deep …..and he played at Bama. Lobbying balls to open WRs. Bryce Young completed 2 deep balls on Sunday…against a bad Atlanta team and a handful of folks are acting like that erases reality. Despite living through this glitch in the matrix before.
  17. If Bryce starts showing some damn consistency I will hop on the Bryce train and cheer him on. But for 3 years we have seen nothing but periods of bad, to really bad games, to maybe 1-2 games where he looks like a #1 pick. I still believe he is not the fit for this team. Just because you can “consistently” beat the falcons doesn’t mean your good.
  18. He was battered but would not quit. That's leadership. I can guarantee that the players picked it up a notch with Young's toughness.
  19. Online culture skews overwhelmingly negative. People use the internet to offload their anger and disappointment because people don't want to hear that crap in real life. That being said, there are some people on here who are more frustrated than happy when the Panthers win, especially if Bryce has a good game. They would prefer Bryce play awful, we lose out and draft or sign a new QB, than Bryce leads us with good play to a division title and we pick up his 5th year extension. Why? They will say it's because they KNOW Bryce is incapable of being a good QB and say it's better long term for the Panthers to move on sooner than later. But the reality is that they've staked their ego so strongly to that opinion that they can't stomach being wrong. And if that is more important to you than the Panthers success, you're probably not a real fan. But I think there's only a few people like that. I do think most Bryce "haters" would happily eat crow and go buy a Bryce jersey if he starts averaging 300 yards per game
  20. People aren’t talking enough about it. He didn’t just play with a bad ankle. He literally carried the team yesterday to victory. It’s one of the great all-time performances by a quarterback in the Panthers uniform.
  21. Panthers fans who fully go missing after losses and show back up to call out everyone after wins aren't the superior fans they think they are. You sound mentally ill. Good luck.
