Former Panther (Tuttle) finds new home
therealmjl replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Seemed like a good guy. Unfortunately he had to play out of position on the worst defense in NFL history and was coordinated by someone who is in over his head. -

NFL bite is still up for now, anyway. Someone will create a new streaming site. -

Defensive tackle Shy Tuttle, age 29, has landed on the Tennessee Titans’ 53-man roster after being released by the Carolina Panthers during final cutdowns. Tuttle, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee in 2019, is the only Panther released at the deadline to secure a spot on another team’s active roster or practice squad. While most of Carolina’s released players either re-signed to the Panthers’ own practice squad or remain free agents, the team did bring in fresh faces from outside organizations to round out its developmental group. * Hendon Hooker (QB, 27) – Drafted in the 3rd round (68th overall) of the 2023 draft by Detroit out of Tennessee. * Ainias Smith (WR, 24) – Drafted in the 5th round (152nd overall) of the 2024 draft by Philadelphia out of Texas A\&M. * DeeJay Dallas (RB/KR, 27) – Drafted in the 4th round (144th overall) of the 2020 draft by Seattle out of Miami (FL). * Kalen King (CB, 22) – Drafted in the 7th round (255th overall) of the 2024 draft by Green Bay out of Penn State.

BREAKING: Panthers release official depth chart
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am gonna disagree. Likely more like 8-9. If you include depth guys, probably more like 14-15. -
Making assumptions from your comment as the Twitter link is blocked by corporate overlords, that you're referring to this news? I'm assuming that the sites weren't run only off three laptops and four smartphones, but it'd be funny if that's all it took https://variety.com/2025/digital/news/streameast-shut-down-sports-piracy-site-raided-1236506024/

BREAKING: Panthers release official depth chart

Surprised to see Dallas THAT low. Sure seems like they have minimal confidence in Caleb Williams too. TB seems a couple spots too high IMO. Fully expected us and the Saints to be wallowing around in the muck. -

Yeah, not matter how bad Bryce is, he can't be worse than Rattler/Shough. That's a nightmare fuel QB room. -

Better options around him too. Another Evero guy...like asking what's wrong with Scott... -

He did literally nothing to warrant us going into this season with him as a bonafide starter. We didn’t even attempt to improve over him. -
His ego was never gonna allow that

Amazed packers didn't find Parsons injury
CPcavedweller replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
That’s a good decision. I think Brown will have a bigger impact than Parsons. Without Brown, Parsons would have been a JAG, and an injured one at that. Backs don’t usually get better in this game. He may go to Green Bay and be great, or he could fade into injury obscurity. -
Not this...

He’s going in to Year 2. What is your issue with him? What are the other options? Develop who you draft. -
I was going to suggest an empty stomach- no sense throwing up good food.

I don’t see how Young will ever be worth what we gave up. The 2024 QB class at a glance already seems miles ahead of 2023’s and we gave up the 1st overall pick in 2024. We gave up Jalen Carter when we needed DL help. We gave up DJ Moore and 2 more 2nd round picks. Young may end up being OK but he’s not going to be a top 5 elite QB. Fitterer fuged everything all up by not trading Burns, CMC, Moore and others in 2022 to tank as hard as we could to get pick 1 or 2 so we only used 1 pick for the QB and still had 3 more firsts (GB offered pick 15 in 2023 for Moore) and a second and not lost any of “our” picks.

Meh. Not great.
