Stroud for sure. Try playing in a hostile crowd while your used to playing in a dome and above 50 temp. Stroud would kill it with this lineup we have.

I’m in baby, watching from Japan! At least that’s what my VPN says

Tell him we want to trade for him lol
-
Thats why his performance was especially terrible because if he doesn’t melt down and throw 4 picks they 100% win that game

Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History
Loyalty4Life replied to dep's topic in Carolina Panthers
Seahawks defense is for real. Mike Macdonald is for real. Any QB is going to have issues with that defense, especially if the surrounding talent is absent or injured. -

Please for the love of god get rid of these. They are invisible and cover the whole screen so that anywhere I click gives me a pop up and I can’t actually click in a text box to type text. Best Buy does this as well. I’ve had to just abandon the huddle before for weeks at a time because of these.

PFF PANTHERS 2025 best and worst of offense and defense
hepcat replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stats back up he was the best corner on the team easily. Passed Horn by a mile this year. WAY better tackler. -
I put them both on the same level. CJ is currently at 'Bryce's benching' stage though so BY is technically above him right now. My goodness 2023 was a horrible year to draft a QB though!!
-
Young is very risk adverse though. He would rather throw it out of bounds on 4th down than risk an int. lol true story.
-
He would be a minor improvement over Evero. Still known for soft ass defense in critical moments.

Out here in the parking lot hanging out with Alex Tuch’s uncle. Awesome guy. Drinking Vodka with him. However, everyone else with him are canes fans so we are drowning him out! lol
-
Both are turning out to be self inflicted nad punches to their respect franchises. They have big ups and downs on the field so you can’t move on until they know for sure if it’s the right guy. But deep down, they really know. I hope…

PLEASE no Sadiq. We have much bigger fish to fry than a Swole Bones or Ian Thomas carbon copy. He's an athlete playing TE. We unmistakable TE playing TE. Hit up FA for TE.

So win a matinee game, win a cup??!

On one hand it’s a lot of people with an axe to grind who feel like they have to die on a hill fighting anything but effusive praise for their boy and this is just another opportunity. The hot take-ification of discourse otoh that might have been a career killer for stroud yesterday.

Dude, really? A 8-9 team was going to win the Super Bowl? If we were the Seahawks or Patriots, I would get it. All we did was weaken our roster for next season on what was CLEARLY a futile effort in the playoffs.
-
Yep, CJ started out great but now they both look like bums.
-
I don't think Bryce has turned any sort of corner. I honestly don't think he has a corner to turn. He's always going to be very physically limited with a low ceiling as an NFL starting QB.
-
i dont understand how cj was miles above byounf in y/g qbr passer rating and y/a and yet everyone talking about cj like he bad and about byoung like he has turned some corner lol
-
He still is

It’s not idiotic. Youre the one bringing up play from 2 years ago as if that matters today Bryce post benching is both a bigger sample size and more recent than their rookie seasons - why would what both did as rookies carry more weight than that? Bryce is slowly but clearly progressing, CJ is regressing at an alarming rate. It’s not a scorching hot take right now to say TODAY Bryce is the better QB. CJ is the sole reason his team isnt playing next week for a chance to go to the Super Bowl, and he completely wasted an elite defense that had only Stidham in between them and the Super Bowl
-
Bryce played at New England on a beautiful 70 degree September day and CJ played them on a sleety 32 degree day in January. It’s ok to admit the situations are not the same
-
Thirty years as a NFL team and we've made the playoffs 9 times. I don't want to waste any chance of winning a Superbowl. If the doctors say he is fine to play and Robert wants to play I don't see any issues. I'd also want to know the extent of what information doctors and the team had when making the decision to allow him to continue playing. I'm not a doctor. I don't know how much, if any, he was jeopardizing his future career. I don't like guys playing with significant injuries but it's the NFL. I think it would be difficult to find a player who has not played through injury. That's one of the reason I hated extending the season and not playing on grass. Other players in the NFL have played with an injured pectoral muscle such as TJ Watt and notably Chris Spielman who played an entire season with a torn pec.
