  1. Past hour
  2. Except for that 1 year, he and the Giants lost 24-0, at home in the playoffs, to some team, I forgot which 1 though.
  3. I am reading this differently. I think the Panthers are trying to "fool" the Bills into thinking Bryce will play Sunday. To what end, I have no idea.
  4. Yeah I was too lazy to go back and dig it all up but there was also some OL shuffling I think. .
  5. Okay. Agree Obvious Measuring stick games should be included. Like going to Seattle and proving we could beat them there. Good enough. This isn’t any of that though.
  6. Yeah but last year thielen got hurt in the raiders game and didn’t play until Bryce was back. Diontae stopped taking his meds and wasn’t really a factor either. Most of daltons stretch his top receiver was XL.
  7. I don't think it's quite so black and white. There are other examples, and sometimes it's just a you know it when you see it kind of thing. 2013 we had a MNF game against New England in November, they were coming off a bye at 7-2 and we were 6-3 coming off a close win against the defending NFC champ 49ers. That was about as big of a game as it gets and to me was one of the most defining and important wins and games of Cam's career and that entire core from 2012ish through 2017 (our best stretch in team history). Doesn't fit any of your categories and even in a vacuum losing there wouldn't have mattered all that much being an out of conference game in November, but that game mattered a ton for the team and our confidence and swagger. Another example being @Seattle in 2015, huge game and win against a team who it seemed like we'd never beat at the time. But otherwise I agree with you, I don't view this Bills game as a big game, and I don't think Bryce has had any big games in his career yet.
  8. Or, 43% of his starts he has put the team in a big hole to start the game. File under ‘I can make stats seem to prove almost anything’.
  9. Bryce isn't actually showing progress. Saying that is this season's' version of best deep passer in the league. It's just gaslighting. Bryce Young has been below average in every game this season but 2 games....same 2 games where Rico Dowdle channeled Bo Jackson and rewrote Panthers history.
  10. We catch 'em when we can. Glad we could be there for them on that particular day. Would love to see it happen again on next meeting. I think the Falcons are way overpriced right now.
  11. I think Smith's history with teammates is a continuing factor in getting snubbed.
  12. You think a guy who's 3rd in sacks, first in solo tackles, 3rd in win rate, 2nd in run stops, and first in pd should be ranked 21st??? Plus they have him at 8 sacks and the NFL has him listed at 9. So dunno what the discrepancy is for.
  13. I would say that qualifies a player for an exhibit in the hall more than enshrinement. Like maybe the guy that threw the first forward pass or something. The first soccer style place kicker. Deserves credit for advancing the game. How he did playing his position is kind of linked but should count for more than he was the first to do something. IMO
  14. good enough = 184 yards game, 61% completion 11 tds 5ints smh
  15. Yes, he is a bust. He is not worth what we paid to draft him, he is not worth picking up the 5th year option, and he is definitely not worth an extension. All things considered, a bust.
  16. It's a coin flip. If Bryce sits out the toughest part of the schedule and the corpse of Andy Dalton plays like a decrepit old man, (very possible) the narrative is, "The team was winning with Bryce!" Sitting out the rest of the season with a winning record intact is a very savvy "skip the combine" type move. On the other hand, if Dalton visits Barry Bonds' pharmacy then shows up on Sunday all hooped up on Jolt Cola and Fun Dip and the offense looks noticeably better, it might be the writing on the wall in regard to Bryce's extension. Interesting times.
  17. Low bar. He will keep it and we know why. Anyway it is prove it time. He should be playing unless he is hurt.
  18. Stop. Bryce has played good enough to keep his spot no matter what.
  19. Brees seems like an obvious first ballot, hope Smitty goes
  20. They ought to be. If Dalton is playing without a cane he will probably smoke Bryce. He did in both week three games (when he was fresh).
  21. PFF currently has him ranked as the 21st overall EDGE for whatever that's worth. I'm not sure that's worth what he's taking up in cap percentage. At least not for a winning team.
