  1. Past hour
  2. I mean, I don't think it's an issue. I don't think Eli Manning's style was an issue. Eli was just Eli. He wasn't going to act like his brother. You are going to have to get THAT elsewhere.
  3. I wouldn’t hold my breath. We got the great Vernon Butler the year after we lost the Super Bowl. The Eagles got Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith.
  4. He's 32 years old so he's been around a little while. Definitely enough to see some stuff that isn't right. Not sure if you've ever seen any of his earlier stuff with his old band. Dude could rock. Seems no matter what genre his music is in, he's always from an earlier one. Fits well with 90s grunge/alt stuff with his band and his solo stuff is definitely harkening back to late 50s-60s Seeger/Guthrie/Dylan stuff.
  5. Opps Mods. I see one below already. My bad. Delete if y’all want that one.
  6. Assuming people will watch it tonight. Here we go
  7. Funny enough, I was just listening to Mike Davis talk about how he doesn't like Steve Spurrier and some of the grimey stuff they did at USC with him in charge.
  8. With how aggressively the team used to leak info, I think that if Bryce's leadership was an issue we would have heard about it.
  9. I'm happy with TMac, but Tyler Warren was last season's Tyler Linderbaum for me in that he was at a position that wasn't one of the five pillars but he was the best player at his position AND one of the top talents in the draft. I cannot fuging wait for the Panthers to start winning again so that those guys fall to us like they seem to for teams like Baltimore & Philadelphia.
  10. Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game. Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest. Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team. Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more. Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
  11. Allen was borderline unplayable in College. He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
  12. It's a step up in competition as well. The gap in athletic skill is narrowed from what was faced at the college level.
  13. They threw him to the wolves. He needed to sit a year and rework his footwork. I wanted to sit at #9 and take him if he fell (he obviously didn't) - I didn't envision him being so fragile.
  14. Today
  15. There are similarities between the two in terms of trying to develop a raw passer. Allen's best season in college was with 56% completion. But unfortunately for AR he was even more raw and has apparently been pretty full of himself thinking he already arrived. And also the coaches were too willing to use him as a runner. All in all another example of ultimately squandering talent. All too common in this league.
  16. Remember that Khalil Mack was traded for 2 firsts and some change at the end of his rookie deal to the Bears. The Bears ultimately won the trade as Mack was a continuous PB/AP player and the Raiders squandered all the draft capital on players worth far less. It's dumb to turn down that kind of haul, but it's definitely not hard to completely squander.
  17. I do also want to point out that people STILL believe in Justin Fields despite the unbelievable amount of evidence he is completely incapable of being more than a gimmick, run first, check down QB. It is flabbergasting the amount of chances some of these busts get.
  18. He will never be able to make it as an NFL QB. Maybe if he played some special teams and could catch he could be a poor man's Taysom Hill but that is about the extent of his ceiling. More likely than not, he will probably be permanently out of the NFL in 3-4 years.
  19. He's not afraid of hogs but he afraid of pigskin
  20. Josh Allen was not nearly as bad as AR-15. Josh wasn't the most accurate passer in college, but he wasn't nearly as scatter shot as Richardson. To make things worse, Anthony came out as a RSO. Really young, inexperienced AND major accuracy issues? Big red flags for me.
  21. Now do Josh Allen. Just saying. They were similar prospects except that Allen was even more wildly inaccurate.
  22. "Bold, stupid and very accurate predictions" Despite his overwhelming Broncos fandom, I like this channel. Look beyond the comedy routines and these are pretty sound and fair takes. No Panthers mentions, because no one cares, but he did not predict us to be the worst in the NFC. https://youtu.be/03y5RLXmj4k?si=EUxjTSm5SeVEK_2z
