QB's with elite athletic traits can be great. QB's with elite athletic traits can suck. QB's without any athletic traits can be great. QB's without any athletic traits can suck. You can find whatever data you want to make the case. It's my opinion that most injuries to the QB are not due to a big guy hitting a little guy. If TJ Watt spears any QB's AC joint with his element it's going to be a problem. Also, I don't care how big or small you are the biggest potential injury for any NFL player is a concussion and bigger player don't have any added protection against that then the waterboy. All QB's, unless it's a winning drive or a game in the playoffs need to run out of bounds or drop like you got shot the minute a defensive player gets within 10 to 15 feet. The greatest QB to play in the NFL was one of the least athletic players in the history of the league. How many RB, DB's or WR are the size of Bryce or smaller? Different players have different skill sets. Some are physical and some are mental. There is no secret sauce. We've seen all shapes and sizes.

We will all know the answer soon enough in a few months.

So sneaks will let you know he's the QB of the future? Really? Should have just drafted Jalen Milroe.
-
That used to be a fullback play in my day. 100% could be that today as well. Snap the ball to a guy that's used to moving guys when he has the ball.

Ravens release Justin Tucker.

Nah, we signed one that seems good on paper. Give the new kid a chance. We don't need this type of stuff here. -
Ravens release Justin Tucker.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say Tucker is not a likely candidate. -
I was ready to let this go but I think you're all missing the point I was making. A lot of guys were making definitive statements like Bryce can't do something because "insert physical limitation". My point is that he can. And he can consistently do it. No, he doesn't do it like Mahomes or Josh Allen. He does it like Bryce Young. And he's able to do it consistently. Now QB sneak is probably legit. That's probably not in his bag. But honestly, it's probably better to have another guy to take those hits for your QB. If you have a freak like Cam, Allen or Hurts, sure go ahead. They feed off of those plays too. Most other QBs wouldn't have a problem bringing in a RB/TE type for short yardage runs up the gut.

https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/ravens-release-kicker-justin-tucker-who-was-accused-of-sexual-misconduct-by-16-different-women-205922400.html Apparently, he has the same issue as Deshaun Watson. What an idiot.

No I loved Cam but he had his own weaknesses, over reliance on arm strength and not throwing with anticipation.

Why can't they just bring in someone like Tremble to run a tush push like play on "and 1" situations?

I’m expecting a breakout season from Ja'tavion Sanders
WhoKnows replied to Car123's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t see Sanders getting anywhere close to that production. Tremble is likely starting and he and Sanders are just OK. Best bang for the buck is that Evans ends up being that blocker plus receiver and takes the starting spot. We want to run the ball so a TE that legitimately can block well and also get open/catch the ball would help so that Ds can’t key on the offense based on the TE. -
This is first draft that I have actually really liked! Now whether that turns into Ws that is on coaching and playcalling. I believe DM has given Canales enough to truly compete this year. At least it seems Morgan has a plan for the roster. Fitt had no plan and blew our whole roster up. So here we are.....

Being extra cautious with our best defender. More weight on that knee than JJ McCarthy

How would you feel if Bryce did this in 2025
PantherChris replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
This.... for over a decade now defenses have gotten lighter and faster to combat pass happy attacks, the last few seasons you have seen a TON of power running teams becoming very successful because of it..... -
I guess you hated the cam era

An honest look at Bryce Young
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why? Look how tough sometimes short yardage situations can be for teams to get in the NFL. The Eagles or other large body QBs have no problem picking it up. Not being able to QB sneak can completely change game plans, making it much harder to be unpredictable as an offense. Go ask Eagle fans if they care about having a QB n oline that can almost guarantee a 3rd or 4th and 1 AUTOMATIC Game changer type ish -

We are a lot heavier than we were in 2022... I'm split because we would have home ice agaist the panthers - Today

I am in favor of being extra cautious for the time being if need be given recent events. As for the source in question it does sound like the guy who wears socks with sandals could have worded things better. But hey we take what we can get with this local reporting squad until the franchise lifts itself out of joke status.

Big part of what he does is being able to get that head around quickly at the last minute to make a catch. I can’t imagine how bad that must of hurt his neck. I hope all is good with him. -
