  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder how he'll make sure that all the attention is on him.
  3. Many people are saying they'll get two million people.
  4. I could give AF about a QB sneak. Plenty of QBs also couldn't scramble the way that Bryce can, you work with what you have.
  5. For better or worse I don't think that's ever going to be on the table. What game was it last year where we got ourselves into multiple 4th and 1 situations on the opponents side of the field and every single time Dave Canales opted to bring out Eddie Pinero who proceeded to miss wide? It's definitely something they are going to have to figure out.
  6. Those are bad picks at 8. The draft grade depends on how you view TMac. We viewed him highly (that scares me since our scouts appear to suck at wr eval.). Taking Walker or Williams would have been bad at 8; one was injured for a whole year and the other was a tweener. The move was to trade back. However, if we broadcast we wanted to move up as a smoke screen (which we did) then those trade back offers would have been weak.
  7. Delhomme was average physically but his fire and competitiveness meant he often showed up at big moments. He relied on others to get the yards. Bruce is similar. His strength is his processing speed and elusiveness in the pocket. He won't overwhelm you with athleticism and needs the team to do the work for him. Like most teams their quarterbacks are average. If everyone got 30 tds to 10 into, then that would be average. You know who else had average physical skills? Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
  8. This might make me reconsider and maybe visit the US again the coming years..
  9. Today
  10. To date, Young has had a historically bad year and a below league average year. Bryce not being bad is basically us winning in the short term. I don't see anyway Bryce Young can be part of our long term thoughts at this stage. We don't won't to have to waste resources in the now on a QB and want to build up the rest of our team. The real hope is Bryce can just be competent and let the O work.
  11. Announced today that 2027 NFL draft will be in DC and held on National Mall https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1919449091571864035?t=IWuKlzQTZBmJG_yUGqyRIA&s=19
  12. Yea I think this is the reason they didn't prioritize the position. I don't think they necessarily view JT as some kind of star prospect. He definitely showed more potential at the position than anyone we've had in a while though. Not saying a lot I know, but it's something.
  13. Six year losing record. We have been offseason champions nearly every season. I want to see a playoff team, not offseason paper tiger. IF Morgan and Canales get it together, I will be thrilled but until then… I am skeptical and have every right and reason to be.
  14. Richardson refused to give up control that he reserved for his nepobaby sons, and the rest is history.
  15. They need to prove they had a much better offseason than last year, especially the draft. IDGAF about off season grades and I'm out of energy for any more excusses. Put up or shut up time is here for everyone. If Evero is a dud that still falls on those 2 for brining him back and building around him. If Bryce doesn't take major steps than that falls on them too. Just put up or it's time to start talking about who else can do better. I'm exhausted by losing at this point.
  16. He looked awful for his debut and it will take a while to get that out of people’s heads. He has limited physical tools that will only diminish as he gets older. Giving him a long term contract would give me pause. I’m rooting for him but if he plays well enough to bring the franchise back to respectable/average that would be the W. I’d rather find a better QB with better tools eventually.
  17. While I do think he will improve, I don’t expect his numbers to be that much higher. We have a good group of TEs as it is. I think Evans has the potential to be a good TE for us. Tremble will be our most experienced TE and is a great blocker who will take reps away from Sanders. There’s also the fact that we drafted Tet who is a 6’4 WR who could take away red zone targets. Legette and Coker are also listed at 6’3 so we have a lot of big WR on the team already. then there’s the fact we have 2 1,000 yd RBs on the roster. Does that mean we will run the ball more this year? I also noticed that Tommy Tremble is listed as our #1 TE. Granted that could change when the season starts. So overall I wouldn’t expect a big season from Sanders. That could change with injuries. I think 400-500 yards seems more reasonable to me for this season. I wouldn’t pay attention to the stats as much as how well he plays though.
  18. I like how he always stays in bounds and gets extra yards near the sideline. Somebody might pop him late eventually but it’s good to see.
  19. When we’re able to run a QB sneak, then those fears will ease from me.
  20. it's going to be a crowded TE group...a crowded receiving corps that he will be part of. i'm not sure how much breaking out is going to happen. we're probably going to have 1 receiver with 1k yards, another couple with over 750 yards, and then the rest will be lucky to get over 500 and will probably be around 350 at best. i just don't see enough targets coming for him to get a whole lot. maybe 1-2 a game. not because he isn't good enough, there's only going to be so many balls thrown to a lot of different people.
  21. Canales hasn't proven to use the TE like that. Look for him to get around 400 yards and 3 tds
