  2. No he’s not. Look at this actual production. Is he getting anywhere near 90 targets with us? Kmet’s career is 288-2939 and 21 TDs on 399 targets. Tremble (the definition of meh) has 112-1031 and 11 TDs on 168 targets. Prorated to 399 targets, Tremble has 266-2448 and 26 TDs. Kmet isn’t making us much better at all. We just don’t use TEs that much and we don’t throw the ball overall as much. Kmet isn’t Greg Olsen.
  3. It’s being said the Bears are going to release him
  4. Draft a center. We have too much money tied up on the OL to re-sign/sign a FA. One of them needs to be a on a rookie deal.
  5. Based on a number of things that the NFL keeps secret so they can award them to whoever they want to
  6. "Center Cade Mayes was not expected back and will hit the free-agent market in March. Sources here at the Shrine Bowl expect the [Houston] Texans to make a run at Mayes once free agency opens to fill the hole they have at center. Mayes, a sixth-round pick by Carolina in 2022, has started 27 games for the Panthers, including 20 over the past two seasons." - Tony Pauline
  7. Are comp picks simply awarded based on FA deficit or is their new contract amount relevant?
  8. A friend of mine worked at Johnson & Whales. Cam contacted the school and wanted cooking lessons at his home. The staff that participated said he was as cool as one can be changing preconceived notions people had going in to it.
  9. There are a lot of hollow talking heads out there. Respect to Barkley.
  10. Unless we are going to throw a bag at rasheed walker I would resign yosh and hopefully freeling from uga falls to us in the second to develop
  11. The Hornets sent Charles Barkley some nice presents for his Birthday!! He's been really giving his support to them this season (2) Charlotte Hornets on X: "ICYMI: we had to show charles some love for his birthday @hornetsfanshop x @ESPNNBA https://t.co/qYGafVSrLX" / X

  14. Took Man U today on +135 moneyline. On Louisville to beat Tarheels tonight. Maybe a play on Kansas tonight.
  15. I have one around that age and I'm worried he won't have any. The other one is turning 24 and like you I'm worried he will have one out of wedlock. My daughter gave me the most worry keep the wolves away. But she gave me a granddaughter that has my heart.
  16. Someone knows he needs help. That is why Bevell. But this is the same deal as it has been for three years, with or without Canales. I put most of the stagnant offense on the inability of the passing offense to force the defense to respect it. I have an opinion on what was at the root of that. You can do chicken or egg, OC or QB, with the reason for not going downfield much but we need to have that be a threat at any given time. If it isn’t we are gonna have the same type of results we have been getting.
  17. Yes I can totally see Cam doing that
  18. Yep and that is why teams have different boards. I would refine the lower valued position limitation mentioned here to the bottom quarter or third of the first round. There are a lot of really good players at these low value positions taken from right around where we pick and later. All positions I guess. For us, some highlights Gamble @ 28 Beason @ 25 Kelvin Benjamin and DJ Moore went late too but man I’d be fine with trading aback a little and getting a Beason level player.
  19. AND the last time we took a TE from Chicago that hadn't quite lived up to draft status it was Greg Olsen... bring this on nah
  20. Guys let's not lose sight of the goal here. Ironically Dave Canales buddy Pete Carroll is a good example. In his later years with the Seahawks they "made the playoffs". Never went anywhere. Pete left town with his best friend Geno Smith and immediately proceeded to faceplant. Meanwhile the Seahawks hired a new coach traded away their best WR and signed Sam Darnold and they are your Super Bowl champions. Just because we backed our way into the playoffs going winless against New Orleans and barely splitting with the imploding Bucs for a 4-6 record in the last 10 games with the 26th passing offense does not mean we should be having a parade. Dave Canales team needs to take control of the division in 2026. Simple and plain.
