  1. Past hour
  2. He'll sign with the bucs and screw us over in the game somehow
  3. One of the bigger differences from last year to this year is that we are actually getting turnovers on D (especially the past 2 games). Think we have already forced more turnovers than last year.
  4. Just the first five minutes are on the Panthers and it's pretty balanced with some positives as well as negatives concerning Bryce. It's nice hearing something postive this late in the season again. It's been a long, long time.
  5. That's what I mean, so basically more on Evero himself. Let me see. There was a good breakdown of this on a podcast from a Denver podcaster in a collab effort when Evero was hired on. I don't remember the podcast, though. Nor if it is even around anymore. Might have been @ellis's podcast, maybe??
  6. I wonder if he'll receive any consideration for COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR. Because of the knee injury, D. Brown practically missed all of the 2024 season.
  7. Stafford missed that same throw to his TE earlier in the game. Lofted it right out of bounds. And he was actually wide open. TMac was far from wide open before the ball was released and the CB was in perfect position. The pass was in a place the CB didn't expect it to be for that pass.
  8. He'd obviously be an improvement over a couple of our receivers
  9. Canales is definitely limited by the skill set of his QB. In my opinion. Not that if he weren’t it would look like some genius razzle dazzle offense, it probably would be middle of the road conservative. edit: definitely appreciate the meaningful games in December aspect.
  10. Neither did I. I cannot keep up with these changes.
  11. Canales has addressed Horn on a podcast I think. Basically boils down to actually have Horn shadow someone means they would need to play a lot of man coverage.....and while Horn can do it, they don't have the talent to ask the rest of the secondary to also be in man that much.
  12. Kris Jenkins was an absolute beast for a few years. But yeah, top 2-3, no question.
  13. I would rather it stay a mystery, we don't need to do other teams homework for them. Just keep winning, and I'm good.
  14. That sounds about where I will be for the last home game.
  15. More so on what his overall philosophy is. Like how he likes to use the line and LB's. How he runs his zone coverage. Why he keeps Horn only on the sort side of the field.. That kind of thing. We have some X and O guys here.. was looking for an informed football discussion.
  16. Yeah I wasn’t that concerned with W-L either. Agree that evaluation is paramount. I had hoped the last 9 games were going to clarify the situation but is still just as murky over halfway through that stretch. With more bad than good games. There are rules to these contracts and they favor the teams when it comes to service time. If he holds out he doesn’t get credo for the year. I know they do the technical move of coming back just under the wire so they can get contractual credit for the year but if they really played hardball they wouldn’t have to play him, and he couldn’t show how much of that big money he was worth from the bench We have some leverage. If he doesn’t convincingly demonstrate that he will not drag us down but instead has turned the corner and will help us win, I don’t know how you give him the money. You can’t pay him big time money for a poo game then a good game over and over like this year has been.
  17. Horn and Brown are having All Pro years and this has been the difference for sure. Plus, this team has young talent versus last year they were basically pulling people off the streets to play on defense.
  18. This game reminded me of the saints monsoon game and the pats mnf game where it was like 5 degrees outside. Miserable weather experience yesterday. At some point the fans just realized that it’s a miserable day and to accept it and use it as a reason to cheer harder. definitely think the crowd played a part in the win yesterday.
  19. lol fans eat up these cherry picked statistics like candy
  20. I think he played pretty good yesterday. At least his stats looked good but I didn't watch to game.
  21. Ahhh! I had no idea the rules changed after the trade deadline. Welp, I guess his leverage is all those trash teams know not to sign him because of his stated wants.
  22. Bryce isn't Jake for me. Jake was frustrating because of his gambling but....Jake was just too fun and rowdy from the jump til Tommy Jone. as a Clemson fan, Bryce is DJ Uiagalelei. As in, I mean, he just doesn't have it. We can talk about the quirky record setting Notre Dame game but week in and week out dude has overwhelmingly shown he just flat out doesn't play the position well enough at this level of football. . And if we had average level "ACC play" in that case......Clemson would have actually been a legit team. And Clemson and beyond, a QB that flat out doesn't have what it takes to be a power 5 QB, that just keeps getting chance after chance after chance for real no reason. Now you basically swap out DJ's physical tools and Bryce's college success as the mental hurdle/belief people can't get over.
  23. The time for that was week 1. This is essentially a contract year. Based on his body of work as a whole, are you ready to lock him in as your starting QB for the next 5 years at 45m AAV, because that's where we are.
