Lance Zierlein's Position Rankings 2026 Draft

Its against my rules to draft a FS in round one, but Thien makes its super hard to not break that rule. He does look like he'd change a defense for the better. Value value value, you just never see Cs or true FS in the 1st. Im thinking more about a trade in the works. I do not like the group * of teams around 19. I like the player pool below and into the late 20s.. -
Its Lloyd, he just said AZ will have a great coach after him... Billy is plan B if LLyod changes his mind, but by all counts he is the guy. Now I got to learn about him, zero clue on him.
-
You know more about this than I do, so correct my logic.....II have a hunch that our pick is going to be Thieneman. In round 2, the LB. (Hill, Rodriguez, or Golday). Then I see a DT. Those are the positions we could use starters. Everywhere else, we have starters (OT, C, CB, WR or TE, arguably --our primary depth needs), will be day 3 picks

interesting. Nice fit--and I am not confident he was at the combine--ran about a 4.7 during his pro day. UDFA interest? -
If it's between Lloyd and Donovan, I take Lloyd 100 out of 100 times. And it seems like it must be between them since they haven't made a hire yet

Can confirm that Lloyd is interested in the UNC job and isn't using it as a crutch for a pay raise and that Arizona already has a contingency plan in place if he leaves. I'm beginning to think based on rumblings that's he already decided to leave and informed UNC and Arizona of this. "Both schools knowing explains the information coming out of Arizona."

Lance Zierlein's Position Rankings 2026 Draft
Bear Hands replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
With the DBs, I see more role definition than positional these days, so tend to view value a bit differently there...Basically, there's better defined roles to focus on rather than what position is listed next to their profile. Those roles: 1-The Outside Corner Group - obviously the highest valued DB 2-The Safety/Slot group - Higher-end safeties that can play slot/NB( I.E. It's the modern guy people want-- Hamilton, Branch, Pitre, Emman, the list goes on) 3-The smaller Nickel-only group. Most of the time undersized guys that can't play outside -- the good ones end up out their 70% of the time these days with how much teams use 5/6DB sets. 4-The safety-only group Regarding group 2: If you have a guy that runs in 2SH next to TM but then in a dime package be pulled into the slot so you can play Ransom/Scott back there, that's good value. They really just play either spot at any given moment dependent on the matchup. They allow for defenses to better disguise and make QBs think sideways. Thieneman, McNeil-Warren, & Haulcy all fall into this group for me this year. -

Get a sure thing day 1 starter at pick 1 without worrying about positional value -

To me, this statement means we better draft a DE in the first two rounds and trading back might make a lot of sense if we want one with our first pick. I would add Keldrick Faulk to that trio as I think he translates to a 3-4 DE. -
Wow, best of the world to you folks! Wish I could give more, but I'll send prayers, too.

Measurements only take you so far. I remember Rhule passing on Slater because of arm length even though his film against elite college edge rushers was dominant. He said might be a guard here, right after being named an all pro LT. Obviously you want longer arms, but Proctor is right, you can't ignore the film. -

Espn ranks Panthers 17th best free agency class.
Peon Awesome replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Reading the article, this seems to be purely a ranking on who got the most bang for their buck in free agency. Using his system, getting a swing OT or nickle corner at half of their projected value is better than getting the number 1 overall free agent at market value. It's a pretty useless list. And even by that metric, he undervalues the Panthers. Pretty much everyone agrees that we got Walker (to a massive extent) and Lloyd at significantly lower contracts than projected. So it basically boils down to him really being floored by the value of Phillips' contract, then adding the caveat that, well it's basically a 2 year committment for the most coveted free agent edge defender who's entering his prime. -

Hi guys I know you all ridicule folks here for the simplest stuff and hope I don't receive that here. My wife and I have gotten custody of our newborn twin granddaughters because our daughter is incarcerated. We already have two older sons here as well 16 and 17 years old. We are looking for any help in the Fayetteville area, we take hand me downs or anything that will help. Please keep my family in your prayers. Hi, I started this fundraiser, Support for Twin Granddaughters' New Start, on GoFundMe and it would mean a lot to me if you’d be able to share or donate to it. https://gofund.me/f236619a9 Please share if you do social media as I am not into that. If this is not allowed mods please remove or move it, thank you huddle family.

Also based on usage I don't think Melo plays more than 25 tonight. Probably another loss unfortunately
-
Somehow only lost by 4. I think they are at there best when Kon and Melos shooting is more balanced
-
They haven't learned how to win close games. They beat the ever livin poo out of you or they lose. Now 10-18 in close games, so they've put 29 ass whippings on teams this year. Games are close because the 3 isn't falling but they keep shooting them so they end up losing. They should have been attacking the last 3 minutes however I guess if 2 more of those 3s go in then they win.
-
Fug the Metro. Canes need home ice as long as they can and need to win the East. Otherwise, I don't see them getting past Buffalo, Tampa or Columbus- all of whom are playing really good hockey right now. Much better than the Canes.
