McDermott is gonna be a HC elsewhere I don't see him going back down to DC- this year or next year
-
That's what happens when you let your QB in on the hiring process. Edit to add. Beane isn't going to say no to this, he has full control over the roster now. It's his show now and if it fails he can blame Allen because he was in on the decision making

Like Spags. If Evero gets the job, then hopefully we would consider interviewing Brendan Daly.

I totally agree I wonder what they are going to do when they lose again next season

Diego Pavia measures 5'9" at the Senior Bowl
TD alt replied to rebelrouser's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not quite. The 6'0" thing was an exaggeration (a lie, basically) by the college. The 204 thing was Bryce's true weight at the NFL Combine, but obviously pounds out on by Bryce for the weigh-in (akin to what boxers do at their weigh-ins the day before a fight). Pavia may have done the same thing with his weight, but height can't be faked at the Combine. -

Only way that'd make any sense is if you go big in FA/trade for a pass rusher. Even then we need a burner/good route runner that can catch and that can be gotten later or in FA -
McDermott obviously has more experience doing it, I guess my only concern would be he likes to play things similarly to Evero..ie soft coverage and hopefully your passrush gets there or rushes the throw. We have good corners so personally I think the best way to use them is to play more aggressively on D. I'd like a coordinator that will do that
-
It honestly makes no sense. The Bills problems weren't with the coaching staff, it was with the roster their GM put together. Firing McDermott was their way of saying they felt things weren't working, but then go and just hire their OC which will just keep things mostly the same. The move would have been to replace the GM, not the HC, very odd to then end up hiring their OC instead.

I think it's a little cold that Buffalo is going to hire Joe Brady as their new Coach (2) Adam Schefter on X: "Sources: the Bills are working to finalize a deal to make offensive coordinator Joe Brady their new head coach. https://t.co/bUcj7nXHFC" / X

Murray is the best out that bunch. If I’m jets, and have to choose, I go him. -

Dan needs to make a call, and see how Sean is doing. Bills did him dirty. I understand they say he was the one that wanted Coleman. But who gives AF he’s had them contending every single year since they got Josh Allen. Seans defensive mindset would be welcomed here. I remember him being much more situationally aware than evero. Here’s to hoping the raiders offer evero a bag he can’t resist and by proxy Sean McDermott comes back to us.

Jerome Boger wasn’t exactly a great example of fairness.

Corbett / Samac / Christensen Smelling like our 2026 roster at center. If we stay healthy, that should be serviceable. -

Joe Bear replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Geno posted fewer yards, fewer touchdowns, more interceptions, fewer wins (wins became a QB stat because of Darnold and Stroud) and a worse QB rating than Bryce. But, he’s not Bryce — which means he had a better season because reasons. -

Saban told me Bryce played at 55 lbs his entire junior year and is actually only 3’2”. -

Probably doing this on purpose, riles up the smaller market fanbases and leads to more clicks on his article.... or he's just a stupid person -

His stat line was 2 TOT, 1 solo. And they gave up 153yds rushing. Yeah, I was watching the right guy. -
Is strange all the big name refs retired in like a 2-3 year span and then it got significantly more obvious. Ed Hochuli Gene Steratore Jeff Triplett Terry McAuley Walt Anderson Walt Coleman Tony Corrente Jerome Boger Pete Morelli all left within the same 3-4 years.

One thing that's always bothered me about Young is that he doesn't look like he ever touches weights. I thought for sure after we drafted him, he would go crazy in the weight room and gain some size. He should've gone from 175 to a legit 200 by now but he just doesn't seem to care. -

No, go back and watch the OSU Miami game. And as a football fan, you do know getting blocked completely out of the play means you don't get a chance to miss a tackle right? He is a freak athlete, but doesn't do well in sifting through blocking and stopping the run. Maybe he can get better at that. Yes I have seen him wreak havoc sideline to sideline, blitz well on passing downs, come up and tackle in coverage, but getting off blocks in the hole is a weakness. Early in the 2nd quarter he had his hands on his hips and it was downhill from there. I tuned into the game to watch him and Reese on defense.
