See, to me the games are more about ego because there’s no reason to give effort. Especially in a demanding sport like football you’re not really seeing your favorite player square off with the best. Everyone’s goofing off and taking it easy, it’s barely a real game. The skills stuff at least forces guys to show off their talents. I like your other suggestions. Hell I’d rather watch them do combine drills than watch a scrimmage where everyone’s main objective is to not get injured

I would assume it was likely the last Pro Bowl to ever be played. Think the move off Sunday was strategic to kill what little ratings it would have gotten and getting down to folks like Justin Fields will be the final nail.

The best this franchise has been since the Baron Davis days. Amazing how much better this team is once they got Jordan out of the building. I haven't watched this much Hornets basketball since 2002.

The pro bowl should be brought back, it should be in Honolulu with proper marketing and eyes on it, it should be the nfl subsidizing a week long vacation for guys with their families-with that the one big change to make is to get rid of the fan voting. Have each send a collection of five or six guys they deemed their best and if the rosters get a little wonky personnel-wise, that’s okay. That’s part of the fun. short of that, the only other thing I could recommend is having a similar set-up-no fan voting, teams selecting their best players, and sending them to compete against the chosen players from 31 other teams in real Olympic level sporting completions to see who comes out on top. seeing the panthers delegates beat the disgusting saints delegates up for the Gold in the rowing competition or the 4x100 relay would actually feed into the competitive nature of fans and give them something to root for. you could even have under armour sell the logo cladded up team gear that the pros wear in these games for money, this stuff basically writes itself if the nfl wasn’t trying to use this event help sell the idea that no defense and lots of passing is a GOOD THING and you LOVE THIS and THE GAMES SHOULD BE MORE LIKE THIS.
