I am just curious on your perspective. How would that help us in 2026 and beyond? We had to pull him out of retirement with additional $$$ just to play. This was Thielen’s last year. If AT was 30 years old and planned to play for 3 more years I understand the uproar. If Bryce can’t make it without a 35 year one year rental this year, he will not make it in 2026 and beyond. We need to rip the band-aid off and see if he is a franchise QB to build around. If not, we draft a QB again and potentially start over with Canales pick at QB.

Don’t confuse his life with the plight of the ordinary man. I have never been a professional athlete but I understand the importance of locker room culture and distractions.
