  1. Past hour
  2. Not that I really believe any of them, but I trust Canales more than I do some random guy on x. And whatever desires Thielen had, it would be unprofessional to express those desires to his current employer. That being said, I have no doubt that Theilen is glad to be going back to the place where he started, and maybe to a contender. And his family spent a long time there, and probably like the place.
  3. People didn’t realize how many times players were rolling their eyes at the poo Rhule was doing Should have been a new and exciting time to finally be rid of Rivera and yet the Carolina Teppers found a way to screw it all up Truly impressive tbh
  4. Because Canales runs a chunk ball O scheme. It’s what he did in Tampa. What he did in Seattle. And he largely is just going to be that. he acquires talent that fits that and Bryce Young will never fit that
  5. The fact some of y'all are STRESSING over trading Thielen is wild. We flipped a 35 year old for what equated to the value of a 4th (4th, and 5th in reality) with the swaps. TMac, XL, Coker, Horn, Sanders, and Tremble (who's back at practice); also factor in a top 10 OL, and two top 12 HBs in yards from last season...and y'all acting like its the end of thw world. These younger guys need to play, and we also have future assets to further improve depth.
  6. How? We got two years out of him now he is off the books and we got picks in return for him vs walking away for nothing next year? We have younger talent behind him in Coker.
  7. Sounds like Renfrow and Panthers still in talks.
  8. Week 3 vs the first round duo in ATL is probably the first time we’ll see him. Which is very understandable that would be 4 weeks since the surgery (reported it was done Sunday 9/24)
  9. Remember DJ Johnson was a 3rd round pick for this team.
  10. Of course. Two things are going to happen. 1 he’s going to lose weight because he’s inactive and just the result of surgery/eating restrictions etc and two he’s going to need time to get back up to full strength
  11. Oh please lol. If that's enough to trigger someone they need to get off the internet for their own well being.
  12. that seems the most logical especially considering the suspensions and injuries the vikes have right now. Hmmmm, panthers or vikings, panthers or vikings. Man thats a tough choice
  13. Everybody can speak for themselves, but my guess is you got poo’ed for immediately reverting to the “Do you work for the Tepper’s” comment in an otherwise normal discussion.
  14. I'm gunna play devils advocate and say he did the opposite He could've retired and we would've gotten nothing. Instead he came back, got us picks, went home and made the vikings pay him 10 million. Hes playing 4d chutes and ladders
  15. Jumping to conclusions here. Something changed in between when he re-upped his contract for this year and today. I don't think he was planning this. We like to argue if you can draw any valid conclusions from preseason. But it looks like maybe Adam Thielen drew his own and asked for a trade.
  16. dont hate him per se but he played the panthers like fools
  17. It’s been this way for years now. Just getting worse and worse. I work downtown and it’s absolutely a cesspool. Homeless people are coming into University hospital and asking for food. I mean like walking in the office areas. It’s wild and my wife doesn’t feel safe working there anymore
  18. I highly doubt he plays Week 1. Week 2 would be a welcomed surprise honestly. Don't some of these surgeries have weight lifting limitations? A 300 plus pound DE coming full speed is probably a big negative...
  19. I mean I don't really harbor any ill will against him. We kinda put ourselves in this situation by talking him out of retirement. He looked like he hated football at times last year and the year before. I just wouldn't run defense for him in the media. Just say I'm not gonna comment on that, we wish Adam Theilen the best and thank him for all his contributions. He clearly wanted out.
  20. If Manning is sitting there and we picking you take him and make the dude play here or get the biggest draft trade in history in return
  21. I'd rather have 5'11, 190 lbs, can run routes better than the corners can. Why does Canales want jump ball receivers? What is his angle here? Bryce played in a high percentage offense in college, with guys who were both fast and excellent route runners. So he comes here and we do the exact opposite.
