Titans also signing DT Shy Tuttle, so they will be adding five new players today. The Patriots have claimed QB Tommy DeVito off of waivers. Lions claimed DT Tyler Lacy and DE Tyrus Wheat on waivers.

The problem with this thought process that assumes the WRs taken in the 1st round are actually 1st round talents. People like you have made such a big deal about Bryce being bad in his first 2 seasons and gave the excuse he had "enough" talent around him to be a good player. You want Bryce to throw it to him AND catch it for him? Sounds like unrealistic expectations if you ask me. All that aside it is put up or shut up time for this offense though. But just because we invested heavily in 1st round WRs doesn't mean they will automatically be good. With or without Bryce.

I'm not upset at all for the compensation we got for AT. We did just ship off our vest pass catcher, and the vet we had in the room. I know many will dismiss a vets value to the youngsters, but I won't be hearing their weak arguments.

This is the right take - although writers and other social media influencers use the delete button aggressively to "correct" any past misinformation.

College coaches do a lot of stupid poo that doesn't work with full grown men who make more money than they do. I've long held the belief that Tepper has never been near the problem he's made out to be. He hired 2 horrible coaches and let their "football" mind make the decisions. You can trace most resulting mistakes to coaches desires.

I mean, he's a free agent, if we want him and he wants to return, it's a done deal. He has the choice of date with any actual suitors.

For a 35 year old receiver on his last year, we got a really good deal. Remember, Dan Morgan has been hitting in the 4th/5th rounds the past two years. Id rather upgrade two picks than have AT catch 40 balls, play 10 games, and still miss the playoffs. Good value. Thank you AT for your time here!

Funny, I got the exact same vibe as the Smitty trade. It's time to get rid of ole reliable and force Bryce to go through his progressions, take deep shots, and not just defaulting to the easy option of finding the guy who's definitely open for a 5-yard gain.

But you don't have just one car. You pay someone to pick cars for you and you have two new ones that were advertised as top of the line plus a couple others you bought for value. If that 200 dollar car is the only one you can rely on then you need to pay someone else to pick cars for you.

full disclosure, I wanted Stroud initially but I'm not sure he ends up any better than Young. That was a crappy year to be QB desperate.

We got Greg Olsen for a 3rd, trading a 50 year old for a 4th is a steal. Coker was the target in clutch situations late last year.

I actually think that it's a good thing. Bryce has to develop. A QB worth his salt isn't going to be reliant upon a senior citizen (in football years). Actually, it should make the entire receiving corps better. We'll certainly get to see what's what this year without an old security blanket.

Would make sense to cut him for both parties with intent to bring him back. He gets paid to be cut and if they want him back he comes back and gets paid again. It's not risk for panthers by allowing more time and leverage for the AT trade because Renfrow has said he doesn't want to play anywhere else
