Is he blessed?

No way, not those fugtards on Reddit. They swear we have won because of the useless midget.

The Panthers cutting Bryce would be a blip he isn’t winning for us. He just is there and makes some smallish contributions - when he isn’t hurting us.

Canales was the QB whisperer remember, he was brought here to fix BY. Another coaching failure even if BY is unfixable in my opinion.

It's hard to say I've watched a Panthers season where literally one guy prevented the team from winning or making the playoffs. Even when Clausen played for that one year 2010, we didn't have a great team around him. Julius Peppers left to play for the bears, Jon Beason was wearing down, so the defense wasn't that spectacular. On offense we still had Double Trouble and Smitty. (But no TE) So I don't know.

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)

Pretty much. Somehow we're both considerably better as a team than I expected and Bryce is considerably worse individually than I expected. I would've never dreamed we could be 5-5 with Bryce being this bad and I would've said Bryce had to be a averaging 200+ yards per game and limiting the turnovers if we were 5-5. -
Legitimately would any even be upset if they outright cut him tomorrow

Comes off as a guy trying to act like he cares more than he actually does. I don’t believe he cares as much as he tries to lead on. Just one of those “another day at the office” kind of losers. They’ve babied his ass long enough, time to move on and get a guy with actual nfl physical attributes.

Looking like Russell Wilson out there. Dude does NOT want to be hit tonight. Don't know if he's dealing with an injury or what but he's definitely flinching and shying away from contact tonight. This is over.

This is the worst game Rodgers has played this season, he’s sailing every pass

There's nothing more to prove. His back is against the wall, career is on the line, the team had somehow got a winning record with a strong supporting cast... and he can't break 150 passing yards or lead any competent scoring drive against the 1-8 Saints led by the Second rounder oyster shucking Tyler Shough. Not to mention you just needed 18 points today. He's done. There's nothing more to say really. He can't do it. Tepper needs to own it and just move on. It's a MISS. Another big, loud, heavily-advertised miss.

Saw Jarvis score right as my plane was getting ready for takeoff, but I missed most of this one.

Here comes another three and out for the ole "Mushroom muncher".

If the Steelers don't score on this drive I'm probably hitting the sack. The Chargers haven't been very good and the Steelers have basically no showed.

Bryce Young's average stats over a whole season would be...
Bear Hands replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
The game winning drive thing -- If nearly all of his wins have to be game winning because we can never win by more than a score, that's not clutch. That's just playing the odds. He's 8-9 in one score games, those 8's final drives were classified as GW. But when you compare to the games when he had the same amount opportunity presented, it's a sub-500 metric. -
This team can score.... Stanky may not be great at face offs but hes scoring at 2c

Pretty much. His mechanics have never changed. Shallow, slow shotgun drops, stays parallel to the LOS, with the abrupt hop-turn flick that deflates any decent velocity. QB-101 stuff that he's never done because he plays all "loose". The biggest thing I've realized this year was something that came form seeing people praise him when he finally does show some anticipation (like that one XL TD) -- He really can't layer a throw. He can understand where a guy will be and smartly place a ball with anticipation, but it's in the design/him knowing the spot. But if he needs to make a live read and lead a guy, drop something in with velocity for a guy in stride...that, he can't do. He absolutely, just can't, and he's never figured it out. He can't reset in the pocket and layer a throw in. I really can't think of a single deeper throw he's made since we drafted him where he led a guy in stride beyond 20 yards where he gave the WR the field to make a TD. It's always these mid-air adjustments they're making that completely loses their momentum since he can't get that deep placement right. We were spoiled with the Jake/Smitty days and Cam's legs letting guys break open. But it just doesn't happen with Bryce.

Would you trade Derrick Brown to get a top QB prospect?

If Jameis was our QB this year for 17 games, T-Mac would have won OROY, there is no question in my mind about that. -

Where would this rank if spread out to only a 16 game season? Because remember, this is only the 5th season of having 17 games, so even with an extra game over 26 of our seasons in franchise history and it still only would rank 19th best (and again, that's ignoring how some players didn't play 16 games in those other seasons like you said) -

I mean, Bryce is clearly better. But they're both hugely limiting factors. Lopez is just hugely limiting at a lower overall level of competition compared to Bryce. -
If only we had the option, lol
