  1. Past hour
  2. BY has a lot of faults but toughness is not one of them. He's been durable in comparison this peers too.
  3. Honestly it was the falcons refusal to cover anyone leaving the backfield. theyre on theyre like fifth MLB or whatever jesus christ guys
  4. He isn't perfect but I had him as my #1 WR in that class for a reason.
  5. (Quietly) I thought Tyler shough actually looked pretty good last week.
  6. This 100 percent. Open up the playbook, get Bryce mad and see if he can put the team on his shoulders again. This was a great, great outing by him. Tough, brave, skilled. Can he replicate it? There's the millions of dollars question.
  7. For the record, Bryce attempted only three 20+ passes Sunday. That is moderately better than his 2.22/Game 2025 average and his 2.73/Game career average(not including Sunday). I wouldn't say the "deep ball" was the reason he succeeded yesterday. It accounted for only 65 yds and 1 TD of his 448 yds and 3 TD's. He was just better in almost every aspect. It was the 2nd highest QB rating of his NFL career.
  8. You can go thru all that effort and I’m not even looking at your post. Yea he got his injured ankle stepped on on a 4th down. Then he led 2 straight drives to win it. Brycey just had the greatest statistical passing game in panthers history and you are crying about it and nit picking it. What does that say about you as a Carolina Panther fan?
  9. He's awesome! I remember yelping in excitement when we announced him as the pick, I'm so happy we hit on a WR.
  10. If he had more the a quarter and a half I'm sure he could have eclipsed that.
  11. Every game there are deep routes called, receivers wide open down the field. Bryce just doesn’t make the throws. Yesterday he did. It’s not a playcalling issue, it’s a vision and confidence issue. Hopefully Bryce learns from yesterday.
  12. The Q3 XL touchdown and a few of his Coker throws were what I want to see, and can't even remember if we've seen anything like that from him before. I need to see that again. Time to prove this isn't a roller coaster.
  13. Defense got lots of pressure all game, just didn’t finish the sacks. But the pressure was there and impacted plays.
  14. Canales said it himself. It was really just tackling. They weren’t swarming the ball carrier in the 1st half and there was a TON of arm tackling. When Evero reminds them they have to finish the tackle:
  15. Yea but I don’t think Penix is any better than Cousins at this point. Only reason he’s starting is to develop the young QB with hopes he’ll be the future.
  16. Amazing performance yesterday for sure. But it does say to me that we should have won last week. DC isn't a moron; this passing issue has to be Bryce lacking confidence to make assertive throws. Just want to see Bryce be this guy more often. If he can we have a franchise QB.
  17. Really only 3 points. The failed 4th down essentially put them in FG range.
  18. I'm pulling for him, but I am not going to get sucked in again as our future QB. I want him to continue to get better, but he has to show that it's not once or twice a season he has a stellar game. Atlanta is a mess and we seem to have their number. Last year we went toe to toe with KC and Philly but ended up losing. We have the Seahawks, 9ers and Rams coming up. We have to win at least one of those games to consider ourselves turning the corner. Not to mention we have to beat TBx2 and NO. Show me a couple of good wins and we'll go from there.
  19. Bryce Young every time I find a glimmer of hope for him
  20. Bijan had like four second half carries because they split his reps with Algier. And yeah losing a starter will negatively impact a wr, especially when he’s hurt.
  21. Recap - Baltimore's fake tush push was pure genius. - I hate Denver intensely. The more they win, the more I hate them. - Dillon Gabriel is arguably the NFL's worst QB. - Shadeur Sanders is worse than Dillon Gabriel. - Aaron Glenn is a complete idiot. - Sam Darnold celebrated his return to the NFL. - The people trying to jettison Brock Purdy got pretty quiet. He is actually better than Mac Jones, albeit not by enough to justify that contract difference. - fug Aaron Rodgers. - JJ McCarthy is quickly descending to Dillon Gabriel/Justin Fields depths of QB play. His alter ego "Nine" might be the remaining games he has as Vikings starter at this rate. - Trevor Lawrence still sucks. - Stock way up for Jacoby Brissett on the Panthers Veteran QB We Should Pursue in the 2026 Free Agency. If he can be obtained at a reasonable price, he would be a massive upgrade over Andy Dalton. Mariota and Winston are lesser options but potentially cheaper.
  22. The “lack of” was more noticeable in this game than the last few weeks. Not sure why, but ATL blocked everything up really well, and just from memory, it didn’t seem like we sent much extra pressure outside of 4. We will definitely need more of it against SF. They’ll be getting the ball out quick and Purdy is annoyingly elusive and mobile. Also, again, I really want to see Princely get more reps.
  23. He is consistent. This game is the aberration. like it’s one game. He did it last season against the falcons and fooled the team into doubling down on him. bad qbs have weird good games against shitty teams. Look at what Jacoby brissett did yesterday against a much better team and with a much worse group of receivers.
  24. I can't throw away his rookie season. He played it. It'd be like throwing away Stroud's because he was a rookie. He's learning the game, but so much has been spent on him to even get him to the point he's at now. Not everything can be blamed on receivers or the FO. At some point, Bryce has to make the plays and he hasn't done that on a consistent basis. It also doesn't appear he's worked on his footwork much if at all on his own and that's still a glaring issue that has nothing to do with anyone else. It's also easy to say that guys aren't getting YAC but it's just as easy to say Bryce hasn't been putting the ball in place to do so as well. Defenses have been playing that 20 yard box daring us to go over the top. Yesterday we did, and they finally got burned. Opened up the underneath stuff because they couldnt cheat up. The contract thing is a huge problem because at some point you have to give the defense something. It's not fair to keep pouring everything into the offense and expect the defense to get by on scraps. Bryce has to be able to elevate those around him. For the money he's going to cost, that's what his value is going to have to be. Finally seeing this game this late into year 3 is troubling. We should have seen it year one or early year 2. As a fan, I still say we need another legit vet QB to compete and a drafted QB, one that fits what we want to do, but it doesnt have to be a high pick. We need to improve our QB room, with our without Bryce.
