We've seen several starting QBs go down this season. Young took a beating yesterday but kept coming back for more. Win or lose he gain a lot of my respect just for coming back. I did not want to see Dalton come in. You can hate his skills but there is no way you can argue about his toughness.

The Atlanta FO / fanbase must be pulling their hair out. He's awful against everyone but them. It's actually quite amusing.

It was a wise pick. T-Mac may be in the OROY running. Had we taken a defensive player we don't end up with Scourton, who IMO is going to be a STUD in the years to come. I remember the conversation they had early in the draft. We aren't going to get a Top WR and the draft had plenty of good defensive players in the 2nd round. T-Mac will be an All-Pro very soon.

Amazing game. Canales has to learn from this game. Bryce connected with 9 different receivers on some pretty great throws. I thought Coker really stepped up this week. He had been MIA since he came back but had some really nice catches. XL when we thought he was dead showed a glimmer of hope. Bryce owns Tremble a huge steak dinner because that Beast-Mode catch and run was epic. That pass put him past Cam. Back to Canales. Yes, we are a running team, but he has to open it up to make defenses protect more than the running game. It seemed to me we had a gameplan to spread the ball around. Though we had less than 100 yds rushing they were not going to let Rico get lose. Rico ran hard every play and that was enough to keep the Falcons concerned. I was thoroughly disappointed after last week and like many other, had given up on Bryce. I am still thinking we need a QB that can use the whole field but, if we cannot find one than Canales needs to do better in game-to-game game planning.

DC isn’t going anywhere. He’s shown constant growth every year and is headed in the right direction. RR showed similar growth his first couple years and then, BAM. Super Bowl.

She would be our best college scout on day one.

One think before doing down. 45 pass attempts. 448 yards. Basicaly 10 YPA. yes thee were over 100 yards gains YAC but without getting too fine with it that is much better than what we have been seeing. And stands alone. We threw the ball down the field. Is that related, you think?

DC is not perfect by any means and it is INFURIATING the inconsistency shown this season so far but if they stay strong down the stretch and either just slip into playoffs or just miss them you got to give him another year to see if they make the next step. You want to see progress year over year and I believe we are. His play calling has been dictated by what he has at QB which we talked about ad nauseam. When BY makes bone head decision or has his multiple turnover games you start to lose trust in him no matter what the "coach talk" he says in press conferences. I would vote to keep DC for another year with a retooled QB room and see what happens.

We have the toughest remaining schedule in the league, so we'll see where we go from here. If he could do that to the #1 pass defense in the league, there's no reason he can't keep doing it.

This is what he does, I'm always happy when the Panthers win and will give BY his props for balling today. Unfortunately BY is like a crazy partner who does nothing but gaslight you into thinking that they are good enough for you, in reality they're not. He's a backup NFL QB in my eyes and idk if he could do anything short of a SB win to change my mind at this point. CONSISTENCY is the name of the game, are you there day in and day out. That answer so far is also NO. #nevermyQB

I think next week he should move into 3rd in receptions and 2nd in yards in a season by a rookie in team history. He's 1 behind DJ in receptions (on pace to beat CMC's record of 80 by 4) and 6 yards behind Colbert and 40 behind DJ in yards (and on pace to beat KB's record of 1,008 by about 150)

Nah it's not sad, he's right that this board is uniquely miserable and negative when you look at almost any other Panthers fan space online.

I would add, I am a football fan. There were no Panthers when I started. The Panthers are my football team and have been for all their existence. But I don’t have posters of players on my wall. way past that type of ‘fanning’. Knock yourself out with that just GTFO too when you start throwing the cheerleading type of fanning at me telling me that is what I should be doing. I have earned the right to have a high bar, to be cynical, to be critical, all of it. Also to be happy when we pull one out. I look long term. what happened this week is great but where are we headed? That is more the way I think about it. As if you could understand that.
