  1. Past hour
  2. This is not even 1st world problems for the Thielens. They’re just entitled at this point
  3. well, the OP didn't list positives so I was just following that format
  4. It's interesting taking a stroll down memory lane. Sobering too. Beginning with the 2011 draft. The entire draft outside of Cam Newton were off the team within 2 seasons. That's insane. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2011_draft.htm The 2012 draft we gave Cam Newton Joe Adams in the 4th round https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2011_draft.htm The 2013 draft we gave him Edmund Kugbila and Kenjon Barner https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2013_draft.htm The 2014 draft we finally gave him a first round WR. Who he then proceeded to lead us to a Super Bowl without. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2014_draft.htm The 2015 draft we gave him Devin Funchess Daryl Williams and Cameron Artis Payne https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2015_draft.htm The 2016 draft after a Super Bowl appearance we gave him Beau Sandland https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2016_draft.htm 2017 is the year where we went big with our first 3 picks. CMC Curtis Samuel and Taylor Moton. Unfortunately by then it was too late as seasoned Panthers fans know. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/2017_draft.htm In conclusion. That's the prime years of the only MVP in franchise history where we basically did fug all in the draft offensively. I mean this is night and day compared to the OL investment today and 2 first round WR's in the first three seasons. Let's put away the violin.

  6. Yeah they are literally going to move back there in like 5 months either way, seems a bit dramatic.
  7. Definitely think the Bengals owner won the battle, unless there was some kind of "you can't franchise tag me next year clause". Gotta expect the Bengals are going to franchise him next year (if Trey stays healthy) for $36 mill. I haven't looked into the contract, but if his entire contract this year is guaranteed, I wonder if he could make up injuries like (my hammy doesn't feel great) and manage to miss out on a few games. If I were him, I would be smart and make sure I avoid getting injured; otherwise he is gonna lose out on a ton of money for his next contract.
  8. Little disingenuous leaving Greg Olsen off that list imo. I get hes not a WR but theirs a reason the meme defensive gameplan every week was "bracket Olsen and spy Cam".
  9. damn that's sweet, I have Coker in a 14 man dynasty league so that's enough for me to cheer for AT's departure LOL
  10. I believe they've basically cleaned the scouting dept and brought in Dan's guys. Obviously Dan was big here during Scott's time tho
  11. I don’t understand why this is so hard most of the board to understand. Sound like we missed the other day when we could have gotten a 4th rounder at Thielen’s peak. AT wants to go home to Minnesota and quite frankly if Bryce can’t do it without AT he isn’t a franchise QB. We are not a Super Bowl contender this year. Holding Thielen hostage during his last year in the league will not change that.
  12. Thielen is the only saving grace, awful group
  13. Per Ricky The #Vikings leaked this to Schefty because talks with the #Panthers are stalled over trade comp. Vikings are hoping Carolina lowers its price. Both teams and Adam Thielen want to get this trade done #Skol #KeepPounding
  14. KB could have been another Mike Evans. Guy was just a headcase and didn't want to be great. But the talent was there. But yes we had a former QB at WR we had a former defensive lineman at left tackle at one point on top of keeping Byron Bell for too long. There was that one preseason where Corey Brown had like 20 drops. Ted Ginn was notorious for it and nearly lost us that Giants game in 2015 over it. First overall picks have to flash even in the less than ideal circumstances. Why this is a controversial or unfair notion now is beyond me but it's always been that way.
  15. Legette in one season (where the other top WR was Adam Thielen) 49 Receptions 497 yards 4 TDs Mingo in two seasons (with Diontae Johnson and eventually CeeDee Lamb as his opposite WR) 60 receptions 585 yards 0 TDs gimee XL anyday
  16. at one point Cam Newton's WRs were Webb, Bersin, Avant, Brown, and Benjamin
  17. Ian Thomas has the GOAT agent
  18. Legette ain’t much better than Mingo
  19. I get the overall sentiment as my wife is uber religious but to put it in a football context and then post that is a bit odd
