  1. Past hour
  2. Was really interesting hearing him talk about how the Chiefs spent 3yrs building around Pat as if he were the guy. That was something we really saw the team lean into last offseason as well as this one.
  3. Also, everyone not named Clark needs an ass chewing in that sport.
  4. Not sure how its comparable really. DeBoer can't keep a locker room. He was asking to get fired with those comments about Otter.
  5. Yeah. Only sad thing about it is the era I grew up watching will be over when he retires.
  6. The STARS WERE SMART ENOUGH TO FIRE THERE COACH FOR LOSING 3 WCF AND HE WASNT EVEN 1-12
  7. With the way Tepper spends, I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to up his pay to not leave. Him n Dan seem to have a good synergy.
  8. I think Rivera could've been an all time great HC if he were like 20-30 years older. Dude's defensive mind was legit and he was a hell of a leader, but he couldn't adjust and adapt to the modern game.
  9. Today
  10. Love this interview. It makes me feel we are working the right way now. When the FO is working like this, I can see more playoffs and super bowls in our future
  11. I don’t want him to be cut. I’m hoping he’s the heir apparent at slot.
  12. 2-3 years of Ramsey is a lot better than you'll get out of most 4th round picks. I think it makes sense if they have room for his tremendous cap hit, because the guaranteed money is already paid out. Pretty low risk high reward move.
  13. Big fan of this FO. And say what you will about Tepper but I like that he is not afraid to spend money on talent within the Front Office. That is a competitive advantage we have.
  14. going to have to wait to listen to it later. kind of excited about it, though. i love we were able to get him here.
  15. I remember, I think it was Damione Lewis, saying "When you first meet him, you think to yourself "He might be a little off". After you work with him, spend time with him and get to know him though, you say, "Yeah, he's a little off"
  16. Per his accuser, an unreal bed, too
  17. they are probably ready to be done with him. i know they aren't looking forward to the HoF discussion that you know will come up at some point. the question is, will any team want to claim him?
  18. Rivera was known to be fiery among the players. There have been mentions of this by players. He was good at keeping it among them.
  19. Play angry. I like that. We need guys with some juice.
  20. That was my initial reaction. It was also Lady Cowboy Fan's first response. And I should be clear that, despite being a Cowboy fan, she never swears (not even at Jerry Jones). But I'm not sure if that would be everybody's opinion
  21. soft society these days man. profanity, the horror
  22. If you don't, you can see a clip here: All or Nothing: Ron Rivera gives fiery speech to defense A lot of us were surprised to see that because Rivera hardly ever gave off that kind of vibe. Fast forward to today, and now there's this: Ben Albright confirmed this is not a parody report. I looked up the source just to see, and...yeah. Rivera's tirade was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this story. Yes, it's a different sport, but it's still a professional sport, and I can't imagine the NBA locker rooms (or even the NCAA ones) are exactly obscenity free. Also granted, I was always taught not to curse with ladies present. These days though, plenty of women use just as much foul language as any guy. And again, This is an adult professional competitive sports environment. So does somebody need to sue Rivera now? (no, not Panther fans) Looking at this as someone who got sworn at on a regular basis playing Pee Wee football, all I can say is boy, have things changed. For better though, or worse? You tell me...
