Not compared to that team under Wilks where damn near rush for 300 yards vs the lions and had multiple games around 200 yards rushing, I don’t think we had a running game close to that. DJ speed gives an offense more dimension than TMac size he’s also only a rookie

It doesn’t matter. You can’t hurt him. I watched an interview with DeMaruice Smith a couple weeks back where he explained how the franchises are set up. He said he reviews their financials, but there is no way to ever know what they really make because the teams are set up as multiple, almost countless LLCs under the umbrella of what we know them as - The Carolina Panthers. And he emphasized, they make money hand over fist. It’s probably impossible to count the money they make as a profit per year. Good, bad, average… doesn’t matter. They make money beyond our imagination no matter how they perform. Im sure it’s why they’re so selective about who they let in, because it’s wealth beyond measure year in and year out. Tepper dgaf about nothing we say or do. We’re stuck with this fuging arrogant asshole until he takes the team somewhere else.

I think at this point we could bring Jake down out of the booth and have a better shot. This team has not become better in any way or area since Rivera left...we have actually regressed. We are no better right now than we were at the beginning of last year. Anyone who has actual talent here is traded for a bag of flour.

It stands to reason that there would have been conditions of employment baked into an agreement. Especially if it is a 7 year deal (someone said it was I have forgotten). Bryce gets two years of development before the cut bait clause kicks in, or something like that. It makes too much sense. Canales would still have time to draft and develop his guy under those terms. I know this, if Bryce is bullshit, fools gold, those players know it right away. if people don’t think being forced to take the field with a guy you have no faith in does not affect their attitudes, they aren’t thinking right. It can’t not affect things, even in professionals. I am not dying on the Canales hill, but I don’t think he gets a fair evaluation if he is only judged by what he can do with Bryce’s leading the team. Not him specifically, that goes for anyone.

If we draft a rookie in the 1st and keep Canales, we are going 4-13 or worse next year, so I don't get the point in keeping him. We'd have to hit a one in a million draft pick and I just don't see this team doing that. I don't know why some of you are celebrating this loss, this just proves that next season is pointless as well unless we go after a veteran QB

One unit, has had all of our resources dumped into it the last several years as the expense of having a well built team. That’s our offense. the offense is also the one unit that has been bad every single game so yeah, it’s Bryce. it’s why I barely talk about the D because it literally by design supposed to be what is weak on the team right now. If we spent our last 4 first round picks on the D and went into FA to form the most expensive DL in the NFL…..I might concede they are the problem.
