  1. Past hour
  2. Only because Justin Fields turned down a spot (seriously)
  3. Previous recent years, the Pro Bowl has been a fun sideshow watch. A bit of skills action, a little friendly rivalry. No reason to do a full contact meaningless game, let the players enjoy themselves and show off what they can do Plus, it allows the NFL to promote flag football
  4. Where I'm at too. If he comes back at LT, great. If not...he's one of your Guard replacements for Lewis/Hunt and gives the OL flexibility if needed to play OT. Best case, he comes back like nothing happened. More realistic case, re-sign him on a cheaper deal to be the new do-it-all OL and pray he holds up.
  5. I think the last time I watched the Pro Bowl was that year Sean Taylor blew up that poor punter. LOL
  6. Today
  7. I don’t go back and look at the espn but there live it definitely said 1 shot 1 goal when it happened. I guess they had not added them yet. Still allowing goals that early is rough. Blue line is a total disaster still. Even with Slavin back. Miller and Nikishin keep making mistakes after mistakes.
  8. I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need. Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
  9. When Sanders was named as an alternate, I was all like, "That's a big ol bowl of NOPE." In my view, they would be better off showing a documentary on the 32 "man of the year" candidates to show what they do for charities etc.
  10. Time to put on some big boy britches
  11. And people around here hyping themselves up talking about getting 10 wins next season. Lol.
  12. ESPN play-by-play has a save at 0:16, with the goal coming two and a half minutes later. 2 shots, 1 goal... not quite the "Not So Ready Freddie."
  13. This last season wasn't a walk in the park either. Every year the NFL changes who knows what's gonna happen next year
  14. Great player and will run one of the 5 fastest combine time in NFL history. Excellent hands and a good teammate. Would not mind seeing us pick him up at all.
  15. Haven't watched anything pro bowl in about 30 years
  16. Big board said 1 SOG after the score. 100%.
  17. Look we can be in the Archie manning sweepstakes? Please sweet baby Jesus, give us our next franchise qb.
  18. Yea man gotta gamble on the dodgeball game
  19. Wait is it happening now or something? Truly had zero clue and saw no news about it at all despite checking espn and other stuff a fair amount with the nba trade deadline stuff
  20. Don't think so. Was watching the big board at the game. I think it was the 3rd SOG. But your point is taken.
  21. at least they're not using our old logo. Keep pounding, I ain't scurred
  22. This team passes up so many open shots. fuging let it fly.
  23. Somehow seeing it pictorially hits differently
