  1. Past hour
  2. Man, what a home run of a free agent signing he was. Leadership was not something I expected him to bring to the table but he absolutely does it. Guys follow his lead and energy.
  3. I don't know who that guy is but he was great! He not only showed the play but clearly explained everything leading up to it. Big thumbs up!
  4. The highest paid offensive line in league is about to get more expensive.
  5. bringing in and having D-Lew next to Ickey has helped Ickey tremendously
  6. Yeah, every GM would trade Dan Marino for Trent Dilfer. Your statement of fact without context was literally that dumb.
  7. Love him or hate him, it was well earned this week.

Looked like a total bust through two seasons. Canales and Harold Goodwin have been a godsend. Knows how to work around his weaknesses now. One of the league's more impactful left LTs.
  10. I don't think 49ers don't have a 39 point offense. The 41 they scored against the Cardinals was a aberration rather than the norm. They were aided by a kick return td, 3 turnovers, and 17 Cardinal penalties. Efficient offense but their passing game is predicated on the tightend and finding Christian Mccaffrey out of the backfield, of their 20 passing tds this season only 3 were accredited to wide receivers. Granted covering TE's and RB's has been a struggle for our linebacker crew, but if they can employ a similar strategy with Horn on Kittle ala Kyle Pitts the 49ers don't have a Drake London who can kill us. Defensively both defenses are ineffective at rushing the passer, Bryce just faced the #2 sack defense so facing the 49ers who are dead last in the league should be a relief. The 49ers are near the bottom as far as allowing production to WR's that typically means weak secondary, so I don't think they can afford to mug the line of scrimmage ala the Saints and Falcons they have to employ a shell zone which could open up the door for Rico and the run game, unless they doubt and test whether Bryce can have a repeat performance. Should be a good match up, both teams should be able to move the ball, turnovers and execution in the Redzone will decide it. I think the Panthers take it if they can ride the momentum of last games passing attack. .
  11. Man, Rico has a high football IQ! He's added some great suggestions to the coaching staff cause the proof is in the pudding. He went to the coaching staff on the zone pitch run that we gashed Miami with.
  12. It was a noncontact injury. Could have just as easily happened in practice. It's awful but sometimes players have bad luck or are just prone to these things. Hopefully it will be the last time our GM takes such a big risk on a position that is largely plug and play now.
  13. Today
  14. Thanks for admitting three posts too late. I'm just messing with ya. I hope Bryce continues to play better and XL rewards great throws like Sunday with consistent hands.
  15. There was plenty of open field in front of him this week. When there's traffic in his face again he'll almost certainly revert back to typical Bryce.
  16. Honestly I think Etienne is going to be our future Rb. Hes good at everything and has little wear and tear. Brooks is not only basically a rookie but also hasn’t played in 2 years which requires him to get into shape. I think there’s hope for him but the odds are low.
  17. And some might say that because it invites misapplication, it is flawed. that is me and we will disagree on this one.
  18. That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
  19. I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy. Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
  20. It's hard to lay blame. We never know the full details. Either way, no point in blame now. The damage is done.
