  2. Oh yea I blame canales for Bryce throwing the ball away on 4th and 1 in the red zone. Bryce sucks https://x.com/avl_mike/status/1965063133116215309?s=46&t=04sKNnhiiGcTDblLYKGiJQ
  3. A 12 year old playing madden can draft better than anyone the panthers have had under David Tepper
  4. Throw in the fact that you have to overpay free agents to come here. Everyone wants to win--or at least have a decent chance at winning. This followed the Bryce Young trade up draft. That is the draft that crippled an already crippled franchise. They moved up to #1 and paid the king's ransom only to admit that they weren't sure who they were going to draft--then they picked the wrong guy....amazing incompetence. Now let's take a look at the AT trade--we basically got some future mid round draft capital. Minnesota has a QB on their roster who reads quickly, is accurate, and is only 24. (Brosmer). Minnesota is keeping him on the roster because on the PS, they would lose him. Is he the answer if we traded AT for him? Maybe not, but there is potential--as much potential as you will find on day 3 of the draft. He would be, at worst, the best backup QB on the roster. Now, did we give Dalton a ton because he has a good relationship with Young? What if Young does not work out? Then you have 2 mistakes and no QB. I dunno--I believe in competition, and I believe there should always be efforts to improve the roster--are we trying to make ourselves not look inept? With Baker and Darnold leaving Charlotte for successful turnarounds, are we capable of having a good QB? Cam was natural ability and he had the Alpha gene, and we drove him into the ground.
  5. When he looks like trash this week against the Cardinals what's going to be the excuse?
  6. Facts!!! God damn I wish Cam had this many excuses made for him, he’d be in the hall of fame
  7. David Tepper is an awful leader of a football team. No one respects him. He can do as many charity events as he wants, doesn’t change the fact he ruined the Panthers
  8. Yea the Vikings drafted McCarthy and had Darnold on the bench. Oh sh*t McCarthy got hurt so they had Darnold who had the best season of his career. Meanwhile the Panthers have Bryce Young who can’t even throw for 100 yards a game outside of garbage time. F*ck this team
  9. I guess that's why they let PFF make the picks this year. Seeing their ranges of competence every week Im guessing similar outcome with a little bump in improvement.
  10. This is how you get 20 straight 10-loss seasons. Years and years of bad drafts.
  11. Moore fumbles on literally the last play??? Was it an attempted lateral or did he actually fumble? I have to be the most unlucky fantasy player.
  12. It's always everything else and never what it looks like. The only TD was a run. It was the Jags so the bar was as low as it gets competition wise. What percent of his stats, missed and realized, were 4th quarter down by 3 scores again? There are some flip sides to a rookie WR, drops and the rest of the situation not being HOF standard. In the end SSDD. Lawrence isn't a good QB but he looked like one in comparison. Not great QBs still do more in those situations than Bryce. They try more when it's 4th down while being behind, not always succeed but at least try. The only light Bryce looks good in is when he is compared to himself at rock bottom and historically bad. Without that he just plain looks bad and limited agaisnt poor competition.
  13. Did you see Young miss the walk in TD to Renfrow? He literally doesn't have it. That's an easy throw for an NFL QB.
  14. We’re past the talk and hypotheticals with Bryce. If he needs a perfect game from his receivers to not put up a stinker he’s not franchise starter material.
  15. Today
  16. If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
  17. Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for. He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
  18. I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
  19. No We have been making excuses for him for 3 years, and we have gave him a hundred chances Bryce is a bust, and we need to cut him now and stop wasting everyone's time
  20. Why make the team and the fans suffer the rest of the season Cut him, and sign a journeyman free agent to play the rest of the season He would be expensive, but Kirk Cousins isn't doing anything
  21. On another note, Kevin O'Connell is a great coach
  22. I was pissed when we traded up to the #1 overall pick I said on this forum right after we made that trade withe the Bears watch us turn right around & give the #1 overall pick back to the Bears next season because I already knew we would draft Bryce Young with that pick & he would be a bust & yes I was right & not just right but absolutely right Bryce Young had all kinds of red flags coming out of colleg.simply put that was about the riskiest #1 overall pick for a Qb I have ever seen in my entire lifetime & still right to this day years later until Bryce Young proves me wrong . ..just saying good luck
  23. He wasn't and those people were wrong. Winning and putting up numbers at lower levels does not always translate to the NFL. There's no shortage of great HS players who didn't translate to college and great college players who didn't translate to the NFL. It looked very obvious to me on the college field that Bryce didn't have NFL level physical talent and that's what's playing out at the NFL level.
  24. I remember her on the observers doc about the 2015 Panthers lmao. Tough look TD!
