  2. Place your bets as soon as possible!! I guess I need to run down to the casino tomorrow.
  3. Today
  4. The science is undeniable. Looking forward to late January football.
  5. Eager is someone to keep an eye on. I think he played a huge part in this draft. Especially as far as process, trades, and just overall draft analytics, his fingerprints were all over this draft.
  6. Low-key this is one of the bigger (and best) storyline heading into this season. Football people are being allowed to do their jobs, and hopefully we will see that effort come to fruition in terms of competing for the playoffs this year
  7. All Dan and team in the piece Tepper only mentioned once. If accurate, improvements are being made
  8. that's insane. shoot, im up for it especially if we win against JAX as the previous years.

  10. Post benching his completion % and yardage were both below league average on the year. Now his TD to INT ratio wasn’t…..but given we were still a low productive pass O (yardage, conversions etc) I don’t see how that alone jumps him

  12. https://x.com/panthersanalyst/status/1928555561039311218?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA Wow, the Rams aggressively tried to trade up to 8 with the #Panthers to get Tetairoa McMillan Dan Morgan countered and asked for a haul back and he was okay with it when the Rams said no He was happy to draft TMac for himself
  13. https://x.com/panthersanalyst/status/1928554621108179258?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA I knew it - the #Panthers had multiple, viable offer for pick 8 if Ashton Jeanty was still on the board Once he went to the Raiders, the offers were off the table
  14. This just isn't true for that time span, unless you exclude his rushing. Which would be perfectly in line with Panthers fans to do lol... But in that time span he was some place between 8-15 in most metrics and that included some good to great performances eye test wise. His ~230 yards per game was pretty good, and he was on pace for approx 28-30 TDs in a season and ~3900 total yards, with only 11 ints. And that was with the insane drops he had to deal with, not like some perfect performance by his receivers Anyway as to the backup quality whatever, if your backup QB is scrambling all over the field and delivering 20 yard completions every couple drives (barring the fourth quarter, anyway) - he's not just a backup, and probably gets a start some place... But he did play inconsistently at times, which is a major concern
  15. I cannot wait to use this as a react for the next 6 months

  17. A behind-the-scenes look at how the Panthers made deals — and didn't make deals — to get to Tetairoa McMillan and an eight-man class which filled a number of needs for a growing team.
  18. I’m saying I would hope they’d at least have talks with his agent to know if they’re in the same ballpark for an extension before making the trade. It’s all a risk but especially they think they can resign him a 4th or 5th rder doesn’t seem like that much to risk when the upside is a pro bowl player with years of good football left at a position/positions(FS possibly later) of need
  19. "Coker arguable outplayed XL last year"..........There is NO ARGUMANT Jalen Coker absolutely outplayed and outproduced XL. Big year coming up for XL definitely going to have to make a large leap this year to not get talked about as a bust. It is always nice though seeing the shambles other teams could possibly be in considering we have been the Browns of the South for way to fuggin long!
  20. Tulsky screwed the pooch with Rantenen by signing him without a long term contract- the fact Mikko apparently didn’t want one should have been a dead giveaway he didn’t want to be here. Just don’t make that mistake again.
  21. I think he's funny and he seems like a decent dude, but I would feel a lot better about the rest of your statement if he hadn't played 5 years in college.
  22. I don't think you can really compare the NHL to the NBA. Sure they both have a lottery, but every pick outside the 1st round in the NBA is like a 5th round pick in the NFL. The talent evaluation in basketball has a lot less uncertainty and players are expected to be able to contribute at 18 years old. There's no development system for your 7th round pick to come up in. You basically get what you draft in the 1st round. The NHL is a lot closer to baseball in my opinion. Yeah you might have a 1st overall pick that can play right away. But basically everyone is going through a minor league development system until they're ready to contribute at the highest level. In the NBA your talent pipeline is basically Adam Silver and his lotto balls and that's it. It's true that the Hornets front office has been ass. But I think the NBA is the most tilted league against smaller markets. I don't know how you're supposed to be successful without having the lottery gods bestow it upon your franchise.
