  1. Past hour
  2. thats the best picture they could come up with for him?
  3. Today
  4. Why do people keep chicken littling about the schedule? Its the same (technically tiny bit easier) than last season.
  5. For those too young to remember, he was a starting TE for the Panthers for 4 seasons, amassing nearly 1000 yds and 9 TDs. Nowadays that'd be a decent statline for a season. But, tbf, he was built more like a LB than a WR. (I mean, look at that neck!) He may not have been great, but he was one of Delhommie's homies. Jeff King elevated to Bears assistant GM role
  6. Nothing magic here. Bad orgs ruin good QB prospects. Good orgs can make mid QBs work. As a whole, the NFL gives up on QBs far too soon.
  7. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47958363/2026-nfl-offseason-ranking-positions-free-agency-draft-class-deep-thin this basically says we should add an edge (draft or free agency) and a free safety (free agency). It discourages me from wanting an OT in this draft because he calls them (after the top 2) developmental, and I see it. Frankly, this changes my strategy for the draft. To get the best bang for the buck, we need to go ILB or edge in round 1, imo.
  8. Good on the guy predraft saying he would be on the next Olympic team. That will be pretty cool
  9. Yeah, he's a baller. Such a great pick up
  10. All I know is you cannot pay Bryce 50 million a year. If he has a solid year next year I think the most prudent thing to do would be trade him and let someone else do it.
  11. Yeah the combo of Sexton gone while White rehabs and learns the system with the suspensions of the other two is causing some struggle. Ball movement looks nothing like when we were finally clicking on that winning streak.
  12. This is Kon Knueppel's team. Need to move forward as such after the season.
  13. I don't know that they're necessarily bad, it's just so hard to determine who is going to make the jump. Most of these guys face maybe 2 or 3 NFL draft caliber players a game, if any. Then all of a sudden they're facing the top 25-30% of guys that were even drafted, the ones that actually made a roster. The gap is huge between college and NFL defensive caliber players. There are no sure things anymore. We need to keep drafting guys that have the traits we want until we hit paydirt. Even with Brady, NE kept drafting QBs to develop. One injury can change a season. It's a good thing to be constantly looking for a potential starting QB.
  14. Not mad about the last 2 games. This is a different Hornets team
  15. Another close game missing 4 guys that would get decent run. These two losses are encouraging to be honest.
  16. Brandon Miller has been cold as ice since the all star break ended
  17. Bought the NBA Pass since I am out of market yesterday.. I decided to try it since the Hornets are on the up.. close game yesterday.. not as close tonight.. Kon is the real deal.. need some real help with the threes.. maybe White can when he starts to play
  18. I believe getting a QB that needs that much help might not be the best plan. We better be looking. Seriously, we have a crisis brewing up front with this LOT thing. Plus C, and people are mocking TE in the first. That is the effect of the decision we keep sticking with. It is like there is only ever one thought: how can we help Bryce? For years now. The upside of obsessively building the O into a juggernaut is that a pretty meh QB could possibly win in it. I’ll leave it there because what would follow would derail poo.
  19. We were best running right when Christensen was starring. Those were the Dowdle super games
  20. it amazes me how bad nfl front offices are ar evaluating college qbs. i have a better track record over the last few years as an armchair nfl exec lol. i feel nfl teams tend to think they can turn a qb into what they want instead of just believing what their eyes see
  21. 10/26 is not a majority. It's not even 40%.
  22. Well Eli did it twice but I guess the trade technically invalidates that. The point remains. I've been saying that for years.
