Ransom has a badass name too. I would buy his jersey if I still bought jerseys -

No but he’s definitely got that feisty drag queen vibe going when he hands off for a big first down. -

I think we would all accept BY more if he was another Delhomme (fiery guy that would compete with the best in big moments and got the boys fired up to win a close one or comeback), but he doesn't seem to have that going for him either -
I really like our rookie class this year..

Ransom feels like a guy who pops on the screen when he’s out there.

I get the frustration with all the Bryce talk. After all, there's not much new to say about it. Know what else is frustrating? Watching a third year pro be seemingly unable to complete throws to anyone 15 yards from the like of scrimmage reliably. -
The more Ransom the better.

it's brett

He's a top 5 corner when he's on the field. Hopefully he stays healthy. Him and Brown are solid cornerstone D guys, just need to build around them

The good news is the offense we have built would work well for any decent QB, imo. It isn't like we're going with some offense built exclusively for a screen game or something -

Folks jumping into an offense or Bryce Young thread, and getting upset that people are talking about Bryce lol cant make this up. -

Not sure evaluating per play averages after a very strange three game sample size is a great idea. It's like evaluate offensive baseballs stats after 28-29 games. Too early. Keeping in mind that we trailed for the entire cardinals game, and that falcons game, while I loved it, was never really contentious either, we have a very strange three game sample size for an NFL team. -
Is Mike Jack already the 2nd best trade in Panthers history?

Okay so compare that to other teams across the same timespan and tell me where you land. Dont just woe is me because its hard to be a panthers fan. -

I still say the fact that we literally got anything for Robby Anderson literally 24 hours after he got kicked out of a game for arguing with a position coach was a good trade. Same thing for Diontae Johnson. -

To be clear I do not think Bryce Young is necessarily inaccurate in the sense that he can't hit the broad side of a barn the issue is his arm talent is so lacking and he needs perfect circumstances to make certain throws and those circumstances are very rare. The best and even some of the not so great QB's can deliver absolute dimes under pressure and off balance. That is physical talent. Bryce cannot do that and that is an advantage to any defense worth their salt unfortunately. He does not have any semblance of physical talent to separate him from other higher end starters. That was an unnecessary risk we took in trying to build our entire franchise around a guy like that. But we can't keep doubling and tripling down over it. -

Jared Feinberg's Falcons v Panthers film breakdown
Carolina Cajun replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
For the first time ALL season, it looked like we blitzed. Honestly, I dont think Atlanta was prepared for it since we literally didnt do it ALL season long. -
I could be wrong, but I don't think Ransom on the field means Scott off the field. I think we were playing some Big Dime with Ransom as the 3rd safety.
-
I don’t know if it’s just the Falcons or the fact that we played players who may be actually better. We played the rookies 3&11 more because Pat was out. We played Ransom more and we played Bobby Brown more who looked better in training camp then Wharton. It seems like 11 was getting constant pressure the run D was stout with BB Ransom and Derrick Brown shaping back into a dominate interior D Lineman. So we’ll see this week if it continues with these players getting more reps then before.

Weve done quite a few trades in our history. Even the Olsen trade was a player for a pick. When you look at our trades across the board, we've been on the losing end far more than we've been successful or broke even.
