  2. Jay-Z is Hindu, so it was his 13th life before he made it. 2937 Carolina Panthers win the Galaxy Bowl versus the Proxima Centauri Centaurs.
  3. A lot of us said this at the time, it's not even hindsight. We should have kept the picks and stuck with Mayfield or Darnold 1 more year, or even let them both walk and still picked up Dalton in 2023.
  4. It's cope from a believer. But if you drop the first and last 15 seconds or so he told a lot of truth in between he just can't allow himself to see it yet. It still has to be someone else's fault that Bryce is failing.
  5. Total bullshit stat. Cam Ward’s receivers dropped 8 passes Sunday.

    WR drops

didn't say it was. Just addressing the billion posts about drops. being wide open over the top doesn't mean much either if your QB can't get the ball out there properly.
  7. Man that's a sobering parallel but you are right. It would be like 3 years of Carr but people still trying to convince themselves he's the franchise QB while talking down to others as if they are not real fans for refusing to believe so. Which is literally insane but that's where we're at unfortunately. Well at this point all we can do is see what happens over the next few weeks. But if our head coach and our QB show up with the same old same old and the low energy most of the rest of the team is going to follow that and fold just like they did in Jacksonville.

    WR drops

Drops are far from the only measure of WR play. Having no drops doesn't make XL a good blocker or route runner.
  9. Yeah, AR is an even bigger bust, the trade helps no one and we had one circus in Bryce, let's avoid the next with Sanders.
  10. I haven’t paid attention to ESPN for years now, so I didn’t know Dan was a fan. But, considering how he ended that video, I was a little perturbed with his optimistic ending because you literally just showed him throw to get the receiver smoked multiple times, being completely unaware of the defender lurking - both in the pick and the last throw to Renfrow. How many times does a guy have to do that for it to not be considered “not characteristic” anymore? Bc Bryce has been doing it for 3 years now.
  11. The Commanders managed to hire a decent coach even though it was a terrible job. I know there is no easy fix, but I've seen enough from this Morgan Canales Young combo. Something needs to change.
  12. Can you imagine coming back from severe UC, not sure if you’d ever play again, missed a full season, have a triumphant comeback story in the making, and then week 1 every significant catch attempt you had, the QB tried to send your ass to the upper room? So tired of that poo.
  13. This. Who are we going to lose exactly? Is Xavier Legette going to throw a hissy fit and start actually catching more than rodents? Is Trevin Wallace going to stop trying to tackle? And if he did could we even tell?
  14. Charlotte is on front page of every newspaper in the world now. FBI and White House are now directly involved and actively investigating Charlotte's leadership. Mayor of Charlotte was told to resigned after she was sentimental to killer and asked local news to keep this murder on down low. Once Trump directly called her out for failure, she begun blaming the court system which now makes her look even worse. Residents of other states were advised not to travel to Charlotte for their safety. How long before national guard arrives here? https://www.foxnews.com/us/charlotte-mayor-slammed-over-comments-after-woman-stabbed-death-train.amp
  15. Canales probably trusts that BY is his best chance on the roster at this point and has to play him until the season is lost or mathematically over. Then he doesn't. Or he gets fired on the way. Which ever one comes first.
  16. He's getting close. He's acknowledging that Bryce's footwork is complete trash, that he's not seeing coverage, that lots of balls are coming out late and not on time, and that he's still throwing up hospital balls. But since he's an admitted fan and believer in Bryce it still can't be Bryce's fault yet.

    WR drops

it was just clarifying some confusion, there have been about 48 billion posts made by some Bryce apologist that WRs dropped balls and let Bryce Young down (and that's why we sucked). So it was just clarifying the WRs had no drops, and the QBs that did see a drop....it didn't ruin their teams day.
  18. "......you can't fit a square peg in a round hole....." DC was asked to do exactly that ... and it has not worked out. I think he has tried to shave the edges of the peg but did not have the required tools.
  19. Yes, it was a Cover 1 Robber concept. However, by design it's abundantly clear that the Jags had this play call from the Panthers already downloaded. Rather than rotating the safeties, the Jags have Murray tracking XL from the strong safety spot on the opposite side of the field. Oluokun is the robber while Jarrian Jones follows Chuba instead of XL. Endzone angle shows that Brycen Tremayne had Eric Murray covered up while running his route. The below screenshot show how Murray is getting depth while watching XL make his break. After identifying that XL is coming on the crosser rather than flying down the field, Murray begins driving on him. Notice how Tremayne is still overlapping him here from the QB's angle. Arm is in motion. Murray is driving while Oluokun is positioned both to undercut as well as lay the wood should Bryce scramble. I know some folks think that Bryce should've tucked and ran here, but he's got to get to the 26yd line to convert from the 19 while Oluokun is hovering at the 30. MLB is getting there all day before the QB, and for all of the pearl clutching over him being too small to play QB in the NFL idk why folks would insist he run into that ballistic missile. 1INTa.mp4 This was excellent scouting, design, and execution by the Jaguars. I expect a lot of teams to combat the XL crossers in a similar fashion. How Canales & Young adjust to that will be vital to the success of the offense as that's one of the team's go-to chunk plays. 1INTb.mp4
  20. Panthers WR's weren't credited with a single drop. Only player to get one was Chuba.

  22. I'm pretty sure they've seen this movie before. They get paid no matter what so they will get over it.
  23. All you can really do is keep taking shots until you hit on a player. This honestly isn't anything new. QBs have always been a crapshoot. 1ST ROUND QBs SINCE 2010: HOME RUN (ELITE/FRANCHISE QB): Cam Newton (2011) Andrew Luck (2012) Patrick Mahomes (2017) Josh Allen (2018) Lamar Jackson (2018) Joe Burrow (2020) Justin Herbert (2020) Jordan Love (2020) - DEBATABLE ELITE/LONG-TERM STARTER, BUT TRENDING UP. Jayden Daniels (2024) - TRENDING. BUST (NOT AT LEAST A LONG-TERM STARTER): Sam Bradford (2010) The Golden Calf of Bristol (2010) Jake Locker (2011) Blaine Gabbert (2011) Christian Ponder (2011) Robert Griffin III (2012) - INJURY BUST Brandon Weeden (2012) E.J. Manuel (2013) Blake Bortles (2014) Johnny Manziel (2014) Jameis Winston (2015) Marcus Mariota (2015) Carson Wentz (2016) Paxton Lynch (2016) Mitchell Trubisky (2017) Josh Rosen (2018) Daniel Jones (2019) Dwayne Haskins (2019) - R.I.P. Zach Wilson (2021) Trey Lance (2021) Mac Jones (2021) Kenny Pickett (2022) Bryce Young (2023) - TRENDING Anthony Richardson (2023) - TRENDING LONG-TERM STARTER (NOT ELITE): Ryan Tannehill (2012) Teddy Bridgewater (2014) Jared Goff (2016) Baker Mayfield (2018) Sam Darnold (2018) - HARD TO RANK; WAS A BUST EARLY BUT LOOKS LIKE A LONG-TERM STARTER GOING FORWARD. Kyler Murray (2019) Tua Tagovailoa (2020) - UNTIL HIS NEXT CONCUSSION ANYWAY. Trevor Lawrence (2021) - LONG-TERM STARTER, BUT CERTAINLY NOT ELITE. C.J. Stroud (2023) - TRENDING/COULD BE BETTER. Caleb Williams (2024) - TRENDING/COULD BE BETTER. Drake Maye (2024) - TRENDING/COULD BE BETTER. Bo Nix (2024) - TRENDING/COULD BE BETTER. TOO EARLY TO TELL: Michael Penix Jr. (2024) J.J. McCarthy (2024) Cam Ward (2025) Jaxson Dart (2025) SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Deshaun Watson (2017) - LOOKED ELITE FOR A MINUTE, THEN WENT TO HELL ON AND OFF THE FIELD. Justin Fields (2021) - TOUGH TO RANK. COULD STILL BE A LONG-TERM STARTER, BUT LIKELY NEVER ELITE.
  24. Being better than Dalton, availability, isn't hard to improve so I left it that way intentionally. Pretty much but the who and how much is intriguing. In the end it's always Tepper first and then in my mind because it always goes back to that root of all issues.
