Wow Rozebum.... just wow. What a horrible signing & player and same goes to Trevin Wallace. That blew up in Morgan's face, not sure what Evero is supposed to do with those two.
-
I think Canales is protecting him too with some of these play calls. Like he gets fired if Bryce does or something.
-
Yep, I did go out of my way to say at best. If Bryce is having one of his 3-ish good games a season, he can hit that 12 yard pass.
-
Nah game managers hit wide open guys 12 yards down.
-
To be fair tho, it has produced what seems like our best draft in years. Our top 2 picks look legit which is a nice change and our mid round picks are actually contributing.
-
"But Bryce was turnover free!" Yeah, at best, a game manager. AT BEST...

The primary roles of an NFL head coach
PanthersATL replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
the coach revolving door needs to stop, it's not good for the long-term players to have to constantly adjust to some new personnel -
Let’s goooo. He prob doesn’t do anything but just good to give the kid a shot

It only took trading Adam Thielen plus injuries to Jalen Coker, Xavier Legette, David Moore, and Dalevon Campbell... but we finally get to see Jimmy Horn Jr in game action!
-
For sure would have been drafted better the last three years had the fans voted on the picks.

I mean, I was going to ask if there are any Bryce fans left, but...I guess there's always one. -
Concerning Avg points per loss byPanthers HCs
electro's horse replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah for me that’s the most concerning thing. When they lose, they LOSE even agains the falcons which was a 30-0 win it was a ten point game multiple possessions into the third. Falcons were in it for almost all the game. It was not a blowout. Panthers this season have been effectively done before halftime in all their losses. -
The primary roles of an NFL head coach

canales comes off too much of a nice guy and his team is straight up soft, never seen players on both sides of the ball continually being thrown around treats preseason both years as a throwaway and the team comes out flat both times team is never prepared and constantly out-coached by opponents continues to trot out bums despite having better players on the roster with the likes of Nick Scott, Rozeboom, DJ johnson and if it weren't for injuries Zavala and Corbett would still be out there -
He doesnt have to sell the team right now. Just get out of the office other than the annual Christmas party. Hire a president of operations, collect his dividends from the NFL, and go do whatever else, then sell the Panthers at some point for 10x what he paid for it.

He’ll get traded to a QB needy team mid-season for a 5th rounder and like a 7th. He’ll end up starting a couple of weeks later. Play like ass but the defense will win the game and then he will lose the rest of his games. He’ll sign with somebody in the offseason to compete for the job. Lose the competition, sit around until they get benched, fill in and do horribly. Then get released at the end of 2026 and sign to be the back up behind an established starter and we won’t hear from him again until somebody says his name and we go to his Wikipedia page and learn he retired. -

Make him finish year 2 but I have seen nothing to justify a year 3. On to the next mistake I guess -
Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?

Brady Quinn isn't someone I would rely on for expert advice either. -

I wish people would actually go back and watch his college games knowing what they know now. Myself and plenty others on here pointed out some glaring talent deficiencies and laid out why his playing style was unlikely to translate to the NFL given his skill set. Go back and watch Bryce throwing to wide open receivers. Watch him immediately backpedal 10 yards behind the LOS after every snap to gain depth to see over the scrum and stand square to the line forcing him to reset his feet and flip his hips to actually deliver the ball once he finds what he wants. None of it was going to work at the NFL level. Now I will say that even as a loud Bryce dissenter from the get go even i am shocked at how bad it's been. I didn't think he was ever going to be a franchise starter but I honestly never anticipated that he would be THIS bad either. -
The only thing that gets Teppers attention is a sign. Put signs in your yard and he will stop by and you can give him an ear full.
-
Yup. He was never worth half of what he is being paid and a rookie looks to be an improvement even with a learning curve.

Oh, I am well aware. That's why him having Mendoza at #5 and not #1 is a sigh of relief. Going back to Mateer, Brady Quinn put him on Mel's radar, so it's not exactly the kiss of death he's ranked so high. -

Star is pushing it. But he will be a decent starter for another team while they bridge getting their rookie franchise guy ready. It’s just the Panther way. But he’s done here. -
I’d love to have Tomlin, it’s too bad our owner was one of the minority owners who wanted Tomlin gone when he was with the Steelers (allegedly). It’s unfortunately amusing to me that Tepper made the wrong decision there too, everything he does, besides the logo at midfield is bad (excluding community outreach, him and the Mrs have been outstanding at that).

Oof that picture. Cannot fathom anyone in the decision making process thought this was going to be a rousing success.
