In school. I the NFL if the other team comes to play then he isn't even that. His good games came when the opponent was playing way down to the other team.

Where does Bryce rank as a draft bust?
HPPantherzfan replied to MRenshaw's topic in Carolina Panthers
It wasn’t all on Bryce but you can confidently say allot of it was. The throw away in the endzone when Saunders was wide open. The under throw to Renfrow, the interception when he could have just ran the ball for 1 yard when no one was within 10 yards of him. To say this game was not on Bryce is a bit ingenious, to say it’s not all on Bryce is fair, the D still can’t stop the run be he himself left 14 points on the field plus dumb turnovers. -
Yep he is a dud but do are the coaches and a bunch of players they wanted. Teams will bring minimum effort soon enough and then the big time throws will come back but it's all just BS. Time to start looking for a new crew and QB. Should be a good year for both vs last year. Yay?

Derrick Brown is the Leader of this Team

Their best day running the ball in 3 years. Panthers just got that secret sauce. -
Sure seems that way now but like with Haslin time changed things somewhat. I agree about groundhog day but me thinks this time is going to get ugly. The staff has no one but Dalton so they are going to have to eat that mistake. It's clear QB and DC are huge issues and time sure isn't fixing those. It's going to get ugly for them and that's the place where change happens. After 2023 Tepper did shift some, not nearly enough but there was a shift. That's all we have going forward, the hope taking a beating will force his hand. It's not great but it's all I got.

Hell one was literally on our team for a season. QBs come here and die. It’s who we are.

Yeah… the top of the QB draft class isn’t looking great. Seems Sellers is at the top of most boards. But he’s completed 11 and 12 passes on his first two games. Idk if he is an nfl level passer. Maybe Nuss cuts back on some of the silly plays this year. It’s still early, Beck is off to a good start in Miami. Maybe Dante Moore at Oregon shows QB1 talent. So guys could emerge. But I also wouldn’t be mad if we ended up with an Anthony Hill, Bain/Faulk, or a Caleb Downs type on defense.

He's thrown over 250 yards 3 times out of 29 games started and 31 games played. His averages are as follows. 175 passing yards per game .87 passing touchdowns per game .67 int per game 17 rushing yards per game .19 rushing touchdowns per game.

The cruel irony of Bryce is that game manager is his ceiling

I liked Richardson in the draft and still do, but he's got to sit and be on a team willing to work with him and rebuild his throwing motion from the ground up. He was always a project, just like Josh Allen was a project player. The bills suffered through him being awful throwing the ball and set up their system to protect him as best as possible while they rebuilt his throwing motion in pieces.

Bills had a 0.0017% chance to win this game when there was 4m left on the clock.

The noodle arm plays right into XL's supposed jumpball speciality and its why he was brought here. If he has butterfingers with Bryce's floaters I don't know how more zip on the ball would help. Really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but Tetairoa being a 1-on-1 threat out the gate makes it difficult. Two different levels of prospects, I know, but if XL can't bring win those more often than not he's useless to us. Ginn and Benjamin had special traits that we stomached the drops for.

Watching it a little further, I also like how he justifies his meddling by saying the pick of Bryce will save us money in the long-term because we won’t need elite receivers… *checks notes* appears here that we spent a first round pick in the last two drafts on receivers and also tried to trade for DK Metcalf while agreeing to pay him a huge contract. Hmmm… I fuging hate Tepper.

I honestly don’t think he ever will change. He couldn’t punch his way out of this wet paper bag he created with scissors in his hands. I think back to the early takes on Jimmy Haslem, the Browns owner. For that first few years, he couldn’t get out of his own way. Same poo. The fans were miserable and were worried he was exactly who David Tepper is now… and then Haslem took a step back. He hired football guys and let them make the decisions. And something clicked… now, they’ve done some really dumbass stuff since, but they started drafting some gems, developing them, and even went to the playoffs a few years. Led by Baker, they came damn close to beating the Chiefs in the playoffs. But I could never see Tepper doing any of that. He is so damn egotistical and stubborn. Haslem wasn’t pulling up to restaurants and demanding people change critical signs of him. Haslem wasn’t throwing drinks on the poors heckling him. Haslem wasn’t getting on broadcasts with his poo eating grin and calling fans basement dwellers. He was willing to take a step back and learn. At minimum, Tepper should’ve been at that stage two or three years in. And then he forces the Bryce pick. And then he makes us see it through for a minimum of three years. It’s clear he still thinks he knows more than anyone else… and for that reason, this will not turn around under Tepper. Our only hope is he sells, and he won’t. He would move the team before he had to sell it just to stick it to this fanbase for telling him about himself. He’s a fuging douche. And sadly, because all of the decisions have been and will be so bad from top to bottom, we won’t ever even accidentally back into the playoffs because we will never have the talent or coaching. It is fuging groundhogs day for misery as a Panthers fan.

OFFICIAL Week 1: Panthers @ Jaguars Game Day Thread

We’ve been having a bad day since 2018. It’s time to bring the paper bags out.

Ngl, until last year, I had missed maybe 1 game my entire life, and that was for my best friend’s wedding. Then last year, I missed almost every game. Was going through a contentious divorce and working, so watching us expectedly suck wasn’t high on my list of things to do. So I didn’t see a lot of XL. I know what he physically looks like. I’ve watched him workout/prepare for the season. I’ve seen clips and highlights of what he’s done. And I know his measureables and strengths and weaknesses based off scouting reports. Respectfully, I think he is already more of a player than TMJ or Mingo ever could have conceivably been, and he already outproduced them as a rookie. For that reason alone, I’ve been hopeful. But in watching him even briefly so far, I can see why he frustrates many. I still think he can develop into something like a DK or Deebo. I just don’t think he is in a situation that is conducive to him becoming that. But, I’m also not selling the farm in belief he will become that here or anywhere else. As you said, we have a long history of reaching and just making bad picks under Tepper. It’s possible XL is yet another product of that. I just think giving him another year will tell us more… still gonna be tough to evaluate until we have a real QB regardless.

And they'll probably beat us

I hate losing week 1, but not gonna overreact just yet. We had a ton of lapses and the tempo of the offense was way off. We need to look good vs Arizona
