  1. Past hour
  2. It's Wednesday, we're bored, and suffering theough another Halloween cooking show pretendingto be interested. What'd you expect.
  3. I wasn't saying that's the only way to get one. My post was in direct response to the "if you have the opportunity to get a game breaking TE, you take them" I was just saying that if you're taking a TE in the 2nd or 3rd round, you're just hoping they can become that game breaking TE. The ones that you KNOW will become that, are the guys like Bowers or Warren who go in the early 1st round. We just took mid round TEs that both show solid potential, I don't see how taking a TE in the 1st would make sense over the other available players. And taking one in even the 2nd or 3rd just seems like to big of a risk at that position when we have so many other needs.
  4. In fairness, this is actually "Standard Huddling." This place always loves them some UDFA or PS guys. Never fails. Doesn't matter if less than 1% succeed, Huddle be like....
  5. I mean this is not only demonstrably false, it's laughable. Most of the top NFL TE's over the past decade were not 1st round draft picks.
  6. They did but only because they picked Williams. I remember a lot of us pre draft felt Daniels was the better of the two and there were some big flags with Williams that may make him fools gold. But Chicago is the place QBs go to watch their careers die or never really be born, so there is that curse too.
  7. They scored huge off of us. But when it came to QB they screwed themselves just like we did. Except they had a few more of our picks to wipe their tears with.
  8. Bears didn’t have much more luck on the pick, but they came out ahead by netting assets from moving it out a year. They couldn’t keep pushing it out every year though. I mean you could in theory. But no GM is getting that level of patience while the team is struggling. Eventually you have to pick a guy. And odds are that guy is gonna be a complete bust or just mediocre (still a bust).
  9. Today
  10. Wtf are you even talking about? We only traded him because we hadn't been able to work out a contract because we had lost any leverage in negotiations after rejecting a trade offer for a player equivalent to prime Khalil Mack. He was not producing as a top tier game changing edge rusher like Mack. He was producing like Hasaan Reddick. He deserved to be paid like Reddick, not Mack.
  11. I mean the only ding on him is lack of longevity but it was injury and he had 7 years I think of dominance once he was in the middle and defensive captain. He was generally acknowledged as the best of his generation. I know Wagner was very good too. I think he should be a lock but you know we’re the Panthers.
  12. Big win and a great, great job from Kon and Kalkbrenner. LaMelo and Miller balled out, per usual.
  13. I didn't see any posts on those three pages cheering for Bryces injury.
  14. Just another example of the huddle not knowing talent when they see it . Dude was a beast here and only getting better . Still got people double downing on their “opinions” of him not being for the sake of them never being wrong lol . Been killing it this year and yes we need him or a player like him . You don’t let those type of edge rushers go esp for a weak ahh 2nd rd pick smh
  15. Impressed how balanced the scoring was. I know the nets are garbage, but still happy to see us win
  16. There were a couple of sarcastic jokes that are tossed out at any number of players on any given Sunday and not a single post "cheered" an injury. Hell, only one poster reacted with what could be construed as any kind of positivity and even then it could be argued it wasn't, meaning it definitely wasn't "cheering". Saying otherwise is pure melodrama.
  17. Devils just won 6 in a row after losing game 1 to us. Metro will be harder than we thought.
  18. For my money, ‘The Sky is Falling’ thread was peak huddling but I agree, this one has potential.
  19. Yeah I told a Cowboys fan that week don’t hurt the golden goose. But he did well that day
  20. My thought too. Chicago needs a QB. Why in the hell are they trading away that pick unless they think it's going to net them a better pick in the next year's draft if hy didn't believe in these guys. But they also selected Caleb Williams so I don't know that they cam really judge QBs either, but it still seems like they got the better end of the trade then.
  21. My only conclusion about that is they either thought both were worthy or Bryce was worthy. Frank’s reaction hints that - if they were straight with him - they thought either would do. My opinion was that neither was worth doing that trade but that was before I even ‘scouted’ them I am just against that type of move regardless A firm policy If you can trade for the pick, it likely isn’t a generational player in the first place, because people don’t trade those. Get a clue David Tepper It was such a clusterfug.
  22. KB was always an anomaly to me and hard to judge. He never looked the same after his knee injury and his mom's passing. Grief does strange things to people. I know some people who've bounced right back and I've known some that it just tore apart and it changed their personality and life perspective. He was admittedly in a dark place after that and it just kept going downhill. I always thought that grief may have played a bigger role than we think, or it may not have. That's just one of those I shake my head and say man, I just don't know.
  23. Yeah, it did. Check out pages 84,85,86
  24. Hopefully this team can stay healthy cause they are fun to watch
  25. Fun fact: Horn has already tied his career high in int's and Brown has already tied his career high in sacks
