  1. Past hour
  2. Let’s roll the dice on Kirk Cousins. They obviously aren’t playing him in Atlanta. If he plays good enough we have a QB for a few more years and avoid drafting another lost cause.
  3. It’s this type of delusional thinking that has this board thinking any QB could come here and succeed. And bringing up Andy’s passing stats when 33 of those yards came on the final play when the Jets were playing the run is a choice. Both of Andy’s deep balls were horribly under thrown. Had he given TMac a chance maybe the ref would’ve called PI but that ball was so bad the ref wasn’t bailing him out
  4. The short to intermediate routes. Kinda the exact opposite of Cam in his prime.
  5. In fairness, it was into a wind that was gusting 15-20 mph. I didn't like the call or the throw, but it worked.
  6. Yeah I’m not saying Bryce is better. Just Dalton isn’t better at this point in his career.
  7. Don't think we could win this with Young either.
  8. Today
  9. Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami also have better offenses than the Jets.
  10. He impresses at dinner parties, knows his salad fork from dinner fork.
  11. He's getting better at recovering his weekly fumbles
  12. He's good at getting in and out of the huddle and making his checks at the line and being on schedule. Decent when the play breaks down. Struggles downfield.
  13. We would be incredibly hard to beat if we could find a way to get a down field passing game to compliment the run game. Now that the defense has settled in. I was concerned about dealing with a running QB and they handled that well.
  14. Another delusional take keep up the good work
  15. I'll do both good and bad. Good Plays very well off schedule can make plays happen with his feet when needed Pretty good out of pocket on throws when he remembers his feet Meh Average athleticism Average to below average arm talent Bad Size / frame Footwork and mechanics (this is really his biggest flaw that's fixable)
  16. Yes average or slightly below average, his biggest problem is his footwork. He doesn't use proper footwork all the time. When he does he can throw the ball 55-60 yards air yards and do it accurately. It's just he hardly ever uses proper footwork and lower body mechanics so it's not seen very often.
  17. They have coddled him up to this date lol. They brought in zero competition this offseason. He obviously needs to be pushed at a competition level but it's just been him as the starter and Dalton laying back getting paid as the emergency backup. I wouldn't run a qb room like that personally
  18. If Bryce is out I'll like to see what Dalton can do with this offense the last time he was called up he didnt have much to work with. A disgruntled Diontae Johnson and old man Theilen. We have the deepest receiver room we've had in a long time. Some good young TE's. And strong rushing attack with Rico (should be Rb1) and Chuba. Good offensive line depth. Say what you want when Dalton came in the passing game started pushing the ball down the field, not so much with Bryce. Young stats: 15-25 for 138 yards and his two longest pass plays went to Chuba for 26 yards and Rico for 17 yards. Dalton stats: 4-7 for 60 yards he eclipsed almost half of Youngs yardage in just 4 pass completions. We have outside weapons we need to be able to keep defenses honest in order to make this offense work.
  19. He excels at being a complimentary piece for our offense and a centerpiece for the opposing defense.
  20. So I completely agree with you that they for once did what they're supposed to do. It's why I'm pretty happy with the win. And we have a fuging winning record!!! But I'm also not gonna stop wanting and hoping for other improvements with my posts. Not that I have any control.
  21. I think this decision caused that game to be much closer than it should have. They essentially split carries and Roco had double the production, I think had those Chuba plays gone to Rico we would have had a much better run game and flow on offense. Thankfully the defense stepped up and saved a game the head coach and offense was trying to blow.
  22. I do not believe there is anyone at any significant level of the organization (fo/staff) that wants this team to lose on Sunday at this point to make Bryce look good. Early in his career he was coddled, yes. But we are still in the playoffs and losing would cause a blow while beating the bills would be amazing And realistically nobody has to worry about The Rusty Rocket really going on a tear, even if we'd like to
  23. No I meant last year's Atlanta game. I legitimately didn't even consider him in this year's LMAO
