  1. Past hour
  2. Because he ALWAYS played out of the shotgun.... which is a huge detriment to an NFL offense
  3. lets compare the 2 in different categories this year keeping in mind stroud was injured missed alot of games yards per game byoung 28th 188.2. cj 18th 217.2 qbr byoung 27th 47.7. cj 12th 62.0 passer rating byoung 30th 82.8 . cj 17th 92.9 y/a byoung 34th 6.2. cj 16th 7.2 td% byiung 4.8. cj 4.5 basically everything every year cj has been better it was a snowy playoff game cj had none of his weopons top wrs out top te out. byoung has been bad every single year even this year he was bad he had a few good games but he was still bad. he played ok in the play off game not great but did play ok . cj is still the better qb not even close
  4. Thats a lot of money for a 31 year old coming off a bad season who isn't a scheme fit.
  5. All three were horrendous though. A Stroud sucks too the pain of the Bryce trade is watching a home town kid go to the Patriots and in all likelihood make a SB appearance in his second year....
  6. Carolina Panthers projected to take massive swing for Trey Hendrickson in free agency And one ESPN analyst believes the Panthers have a clear path to one blockbuster free-agent signing that would shake the NFL to its foundations. Aaron Schatz thought the Panthers make a ton of sense for edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, whose time with the Cincinnati Bengals looks up. This isn't the sort of signing Morgan typically goes for, but Carolina is ready to win now. That changes the landscape considerably. Acquiring Hendrickson won't be cheap. The NFL's sack leader in 2023 and 2024 should be in high demand on the open market, and the Bengals will likely allow him to explore other employment opportunities. It would be an all-in move from Morgan, but the rewards might be substantial as the Panthers look to get over the hump. Hendrickson is an elite pass-rusher. His relentless motor, exceptional technique, and violent hands make him a legitimate force that very few around the league can match. He may be 31 years old now, but there is nothing to suggest that he cannot keep performing well at the tail-end of his playing journey. According to Spotrac, Hendrickson is expected to command an annual salary of $25.44 million on a two-year, $50.89 million deal. The Panthers would have to move some money around to make it work, but now is the time to strike after winning the NFC South and making the playoffs in 2025. https://catcrave.com/panthers-might-be-sitting-bombshell-free-agent-splash-that-rattles-nfl?fbclid=IwY2xjawPbPhBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAwzNTA2ODU1MzE3MjgAAR72KbrmxZzxalgaGqf86zp1Y6dUeyZqW6GsWP5InhG1BFjr6EQ78felypdTnw_aem_jPLn7ptGlzbuMjk4aXXLLQ
  7. if we were playing next week who would you rather have playing?
  8. Lol the Bryce trade was a tremendous f*ck up, its not cj or Bryce its the fact we would have had our pick of McDaniels,Williams and MAYE
  9. It’s also a completely arbitrary starting point that conveniently cuts out cj’s best play and Bryce’s…well not worst since he had plenty of performances this year just as bad as his rookie season
  10. I've been saying since Kalil we needed to draft our franchise center. Which means we're going to find a converted TE with 2 major leg injuries and sign him to a 3 year deal after Mayes leaves in FA and Corbett gets hurt in preseason.
  11. Ive said this for a long time. Burns is no Micah Parsons and look at the 2 offers for each. We should have taken that Rams offer and run. And if we really believed in BY, how many 1sts and 2nds could we have gotten for that #1 overall? Not trading him was absolutely the wrong move.
  12. Ill take Tuch on playstyle fit alone over Panarin (yes hes historicaly a more dynamic scorer) but anther forchecking 6'4 220 power forward who also can score? Thats exactly the kind of player we need to balance out our smurfs for the playoffs.
  13. Ehhhh I doubt that even with all the INJURY cap they have accrued they only have about 1m in DEADLINE space (we have 40m) honestly without all the injuries they would have needed to trade away 2-3 high dollar guys just to get under the cap... it would be very short sighted of them to try and force moves this year.
  14. Trade Dalton for CJ. Let him and Bryce battle it out in camp for starting QB spot.
  15. Yeah we usually suck in the early bird games
  16. I think a lot of folks remember him very fondly from his time here as DC during that 15-1 season and the Super Bowl appearance. Not trying to knock Canales, he's showing some promise, but he's still a young and unproven coach when compared. We aren't making any kind of trade, but...
  17. Ruthless. In some ways I can see the criticism of McDermott. The Bills have choked in the playoffs a lot. But I don't see them upgrading from him. In all likelihood they will downgrade.
  18. https://www.texanstalk.com/threads/alright-lets-talk-about-trading-cj.118011/ The Houston fans are really beating CJ Stroud up on all their message boards.
  19. So Dave if you could go ahead and slide on over to OC... yeah... that'd be great
  20. 100%. If he chooses to coach next year, he will have a contract lined up with a team. IMO I think he'll take a year away before coming back. Hes not gonna go to a place thats in shambles (Cleveland or Miami), I doubt he takes something like Tennessee because its far more disfunctional than people say (They fuging fired Mike Vrabel after trading away AJ Brown and Derrick Henry then wonder why they suck). IMO, IFFF mcdermott takes a position itd be baltimore or surprisingly Las Vegas (gets to hand pick his #1 overall QB and a bajillion dollars in cap room to fix the roster)...maaayyybe Pittsburgh because I think the structure and organization would fit him.
