  1. Past hour
  2. Only when we play the Browns!
  3. The few 2026 mock drafts that i have seen have us picking sixth.
  4. JJJ has been with the team so long he gives 0 fugs! Hell, Rhule DRAFTED his replacement and JJJ sent him packing.
  5. It’s just a new campaign to give this core a marketing identity and less of a new slogan to replace Keep Pounding. The Cam/Luke era was “One Carolina”
  6. It would have to be a super diminished value trade. Like a 6th that could turn into a 5th maybe 4th (conditional) or something like that. It's not happening regardless.
  7. Keep Pounding drum is being replaced w/ a Sir Purr act
  8. THAT'S the trade! DJ for Shemar even-steven. I'll guarantee his full rookie contract, then let him vie for a backup role. He can only poison the locker room so much from the bench. If he becomes a beast...we win big. Not that they would agree to this, but it's about what I'm willing to give up for a cancerous turd.
  9. Today
  10. Yeah, I wouldn't want to go into the season with 3 rookies and Jones, who hasn't ever been a "starter" before. Getting rid of DJ is deal breaker for me.
  11. They sort of drafted him in case they couldn't reach a deal with Trey Hendrickson. Maybe they are close with Hendrickson. I think the A&M defensive scheme may have hurt Scourton and Stewart's sack numbers but at least Nic had four; Stewart had 1.5. If we hadn't drafted two edge rushers, i would be in favor of exploring a trade for the guy.
  12. I wish him a great comeback. Knee injuries are tough on big guys, but he's young, motivated and has been getting the best medical attention that money can buy. If we get him back, that defense jumps six or seven spots in the rankings alone, if not more.
  13. Simmons is the S I've been hoping we'd go after, I'm happy to hear we may have interest at least
  14. My brothers in Christ, this fortells the coming of the four horsemen of the Teppocalypse. It's: Meddling Arrogance Incompetence Denial
  15. In the video, you can hear the Keep Pounding chant If they were trying to replace, they wouldn't have included that audio at all
  16. JJJ always ends his Cart Talks with "Keep Pounding". He must've not got the memo.
  17. The way the team and local media are sounding it sure seems that way. it won’t matter though. It will never stick with fans and will end up just another waste of money.
  18. I dont think they're replacing Keep Pounding. They already know the backlash they got last time they tried
  19. They probably saw dudes dad saying they idolize Thanos after he got drafted and were like nahhh idk about all this genocide stuff.
  20. I love corny sitcom stuff just for the nostalgia but it’s really off putting after a while
  21. I watched it so much as a kid but the studio audience and urkel are horrifying. It’s definitely better for the era.
  22. This 1000%. Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick? Lmao
  23. I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract. So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them. And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet. The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
